I haven't had a snow day in probably 15 years! I am not certain what the rest of the week looks like as far as being open goes. (I can drive in this but, I don't know if florida can)

✨️Some pet winter tips✨️

❄️Critters (like cats) like to get up into your hood for shelter. Bang on it a few times before starting the engine or honk your horn.

❄️A little Vaseline on your pets paws before and after they go outside can help with protecting their little feet. Make sure to wipe their paws when they come in.

❄️Avoid long times outside even if they seem to enjoy it. Ice crystals and the snow can hurt your babies paws easily. Consider making a DIY paw salve. You might already have the ingredients. This can help prevent painful cracks.

❄️Even if you have a Nordic breed, they are used to florida climate. They will be susceptible to burned paws at the very least.

❄️Cozy jackets or sweaters for your pet (especially short hair and small dogs)

❄️Cold weather can be hard on senior pets or pets with joint issues. They might be sore or a little slow. Senior dogs and puppies also lose body heat faster, be mindful when outside.

❄️We likely don't have to worry about antifreeze but, it is very toxic to your pets. Keep them away and clean any spills.

❄️If using a space heater make sure you supervise your pets around it to prevent injury or accidents.

❄️Keep them active inside if they are going stir crazy.
Mental stimulation can be just as tiring as physical exertion. This is a great time to teach your dogs a new skill or brush up on some old ones. You can also make different food puzzles for them. Sniff walks are great! Hide treats around the house, leash your pet, and have them search for the treats. Make sure to have some obvious treats out, especially for beginners.

Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a lovely holiday season! Sorry I have been absent, we just got back last weekend from a 2 week vacation to Minnesota! I haven't woken up Christmas morning in Minnesota for at least 11 years. We enjoyed spending the holidays with family. Our co-pilot also turned 6!!I🎉 AND she lost her first tooth. She was able to have a pool party with all her cousins and family.

I'm working on 2025 schedule right now! Until my husband gets home I'm not certain what it will look like.

*I will be sending a service agreement to all current customers to sign! It just needs updating since some of your forms are from 2022!!*
