🌶Pepper🌶
Today we are featuring Miss Pepper. She is a grey DSH with beautiful big green/yellow eyes, weighing in at almost 8lb. This girl is so sweet but is a little shy at first. A home with a calmer feeling would probably help her to adjust a little bit quicker and she does get along with the other cats, dogs are unknown at this time, as we do not meet the cats with dogs.

🎄WE HAVE PUPPIES🎄
These 5 puppies are looking for their new homes for the holidays- December 16th. They are a mix breed, the mom was a pit mix and the dad is unknown. They are approximately 6-7 weeks old and there are 3 boys and 2 girls. We will schedule their surgery date and they will need to return to the shelter for this, so please take this into consideration prior to adopting.

💚Cleetus💚
We would like to introduce Mr. Cleetus, he is approximately 6 years old and is a Black Lab/German shepherd mix weighing in at 65lb. He came to us as a stray and was not claimed. While he has been here at the shelter we have found that he is a huge fan of toys, playing fetch and loves to be around people. We have not introduced him to other dogs or cats yet, but if the proper introduction was done I'm sure he would do great!
His Neuter surgery is scheduled for December 4th, he would need to be brought back for this. If interested in Cleetus please call or email the shelter at [email protected] or 218-237-7100. Thank you.

💥Koa💥

Koa is a siamese cream point weighting in at 16 pounds, he came to the shelter as an owner surrender due to not getting along with their kittens, but he seems to be doing good in our colony room of adult cats and does well with kids. We have not tried him with dogs. He is such a big ball of cuddles and so extremely sweet.
This big cuddle bug is looking for his new home and is neutered and UTD on shots and microchipped. If interested in him call or email the shelter at [email protected] or 218-237-7100.

Kira was happy this morning playing tug and having the zoomies. This sweet girl has truly done a 180 since she arrived here! ❤️

Speedy-Beanie is starting to come out of her shell the longer she is with us! From a stray, to a mama dog, to being able to run freely; she has had quite the journey. Beanie is available for adoption, if interested, shoot us an email at [email protected]!

Buckeye is headed back to his foster family, as they are now a #fosterfail and they just couldn’t resist! Sweet Buckeye is SO happy to be back with his family! ❤️ #180

Our toy motivated, Savannah, is still looking for her forever home. She will need an only dog home as she is dog selective. Other than that, she is incredibly sweet and loves to play! She’s not a big fan of kids, so older or no children would be best for her!

Oh, what difference a month of love and care can do. Buckeye, our surgery dog, is recovering extremely well. He is looking for his new home where he can continue his recovery and receive lots of love! Buckeye does okay with other dogs, loves kids, walks pretty well on leash, and is potty-trained!

Our stray beagle from Sunday is still waiting for his family to claim him. He had a lot to say during intake today and really wants to go home. If you own “Wallie,” give us a call at 218-237-7100, you MUST have proof of ownership to claim.

How could you not love Beanie? This sweet girl has recovered nicely from her spay surgery. She is fully vetted and ready to go into her new home! ❤️

We have 3 (tentatively 4) puppies still looking for homes. Wilfred, Slush, Luther, and Randy(?)! If interested in adopting a puppy, give us a call at 218-237-7100! This litter of pups have been great fun, but it’s time for them to share the fun with their forever families! 🫶🏻

We’ve been trying to find Kira (black) a friend to play with when outside. She has always been an excitable, “zoomy” girl and we thought she would benefit from a friend. We noticed that Petunia caught Kira’s attention during a brief exchange. So, we thought, why not try it? Look at this great play between the two of them! We love to pair dogs with similar play styles and energy levels to enrich their times here with us. So happy for Kira and Petunia! The leash is dragging in case we needed to separate, it was removed was we were assured they would be okay together. #rescue #dogs
