Another awesome carrot harvest! This is our second harvest of the season. We even had several purple carrots that snuck into the mix.

Lovers of lettuce! We really enjoy watching all of our lettuce grow. Mesmerized by the contrast of colors from each variety. But there’s nothing better than eating a freshly picked salad!

First of many to come. We experimented with this seeding of carrots and decided not to thin them when they started to sprout. Though we were diligent with how we direct sowed the seeds, but very pleased with the outcome!

Our romaine has been growing wonderfully. We were hand picking it at first but now with all the other lettuce we have available, we’ve decided to distribute whole heads.

Beets and Sugar Snap Peas! Sugar snap peas have always been one of my favorites and I especially enjoy eating them during a harvest! At Leap of Faith farm we’re looking to implement a CSA and grateful to see that we’ve had several folks already interested in joining. Our market garden is small in scale, but we have big plans to turn this small plot into a high production market garden. We want to thank several farmers from around the world for their time to teach and inspire. .sattin .co . What an incredible community of people! We couldn’t be more thankful for the time they take to teach and inspire others, like ourselves, to grow and farm.

Time for our lettuce harvest!! Here at Leap of Faith Farm we’re excited to start harvesting our lettuces. That includes romaine, spinach, kale, and leafy greens. We are also harvesting along with that beets, potatoes and carrots. Go local! Go farm to table!

Incredible start to our first year market gardening. We had some initial set backs with testing several kinds of compost, but excited for our first harvest of a variety of veggies!
