FYI: I am completely booked full for this upcoming weekend. We are going to have a (busy) fun weekend!! I apologize to all who I could not get on the schedule. Thanks to all of those who I was able to get booked and letting me kick off summer with such a great group! Hoping the icky weather is past us for the week so we can get the pool and splash pads out!

Sweet little Rayson is back home after over a month!!! It was the greatest message to wake up to Saturday morning! It’s always so heartbreaking to see missing dog posts but it hurts even more when it’s a dog I’ve gotten the chance to love. WELCOME HOME RAYSON!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Rayson went missing at the beginning of January when Hedeen went on vacation and left him with a family member living in the city of Goodhue. On that day, Rayson ran outside the open house door after the family member went to take out the trash.

Hello everyone and happy Monday! Now that we are a week into 2024, I would like to throw some reminders out here... These new changes are an adjustment for everyone. Myself included.

I would also like to put a few reminders out there to keep things running smoothly:

1. Daycare days are UP TO 10 hours per day. If a daycare day exceeds that time, there will be an extra charge of $5 per hour
2. Please make sure you are booking your appointments or making changes 24 hours in advance. This allows me time to prep kennels, check vet records and plan ahead for play groups if needed.
3. Please make sure that you are bagging food up for boarding stays. I am okay with a large gallon ziploc (make sure to give me measurements for food amounts) but due to my limited storage space, I do not have room for everyone to send food in huge totes or 35+lb bags of food. Also, it takes extra time for me to get feeding done when I have to make several trips back and forth for food for everyone.... there are hungry pups here!
4. PLEASE make sure you're sending collars with your dogs
5. Vet records - I require all dogs to be UTD on Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella and require written verification of such. I will not take any dogs with expired records. If you want to stay on the ball, feel free to send updated records as needed to [email protected]. That can save a lot of time when booking. CHECK YOUR BORDETELLA! That vaccine is annual!!!
6. when booking, I do not need an exact time for drop off or pickup. I just need to know if you plan to drop off and pick up in the morning or afternoon and will expect you within that time frame.
7. I will be adding extra charges for any late arrivals for drop off and pickup.
8. Please remember: I am here 7 days a week. I have my set times for a reason. I chose the times I did, based off of the trends I have seen over the last ~year so I could remain as convenient as possible but also allow myself time for the everyday needs to keep my facility clean, safe and running smoothly. Please plan your booking accordingly.
9. Daycare punch cards are for daycare days only. Not to be used for boarding stays

My New Years resolution for 2024 is to be better about taking - and posting - pictures both in my personal and business life. I have always been an “in the moment” type of person and even when I have my phone in my back pocket, I never think to snap pics here and there.

Anyway, we attempted a cute, festive holiday pic as a group… it went as well as could be expected with multiple dogs and someone who is no photographer by any stretch of the imagination.

We played out in the snow today… well, they played, I stood inside with my head out the door because I’m not crazy 😜

We did a number on the bag of sweet potato treats and are ending the night watching a movie in my messy office ❤️

What an AWESOME group of dogs to spend the weekend with!

ANNOUNCEMENT! There will be some updates to my booking policy that will go into effect 1/1/24!

I am coming up close to a year of being open and after some major trial and error, there are some changes that need to be made.... I have worked very hard to be flexible and accommodate scheduling needs for everyone. However, because I am one person, it has been a struggle keeping up with the needs of my clientele.

To give a little perspective to why the changes are happening, I have had many issues with people booking and not being willing to give drop off and pickup times with the intent of just showing up when it works for them, people showing up hours before or after the time that they have given me and people just showing up with their dogs with no appointment. This leaves me unable to plan my everyday life around my work as I honestly spend a lot of days waiting on people to show up, not knowing when they will come, sending messages and making phone calls to get times and get no responses.

Because my entire day (life) is planned around my scheduled drop offs and pickups - what time I start my day, what time I am able to leave, when/if I am able to make supply runs, when/if I am able to do any errands or make appointments of my own, or simply being able to make it to family events or just spend time with Mike and my kids. I work 7 days a week, 12 hours a day minimum, a lot of times, up to 14. I just need to add a little more structure to my scheduling so that I can have a little more flexibility in my everyday life. Below is my new scheduling policy.

When you are ready to make a reservation here is what I will need:

Your first and last name
Your dogs name
A phone number to save the reservation under
Vet records showing up to date Rabies, Bordetella and DHLPP - (distemper combo). I will not take any dogs with expired vaccinations.
The dates you are needing services
Drop off and pickup times: below are the timeframes available for pickup and drop off.

Monday - Friday 6a-9a or 3p-6p
Saturday and Sunday 8a-12p

*PLEASE NOTE: Appointments will not be booked and spots will not be saved without a confirmed drop off and pickup time.

All appointments and time changes must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance - this includes daycare and boarding

Please show up on time! - there will be a $5 charge for every 30 minutes you are past your scheduled time for both drop off and pickup

I will also be limiting tours to Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12p and 5p - By appointment only!
***NO WALK IN TOURS WILL BE OFFERED***
