This is Henry Lighting he's a bundle of love and joy. Henry tells us he loves people, children and other dogs that don't have too much excitement before I get to know them. After the initial welcome were cool. If I'm not interested in playing with the other dog I have no problem letting them know by growling and snapping but not biting.
He are a few friends in my dog world I've met since coming to Illinois at TAR - Treasured Animal Rescue living with my senior foster mom. I've met so many seniors and people that work my foster mom lives it's exciting. There are 3 ladies that really love me and I love seeing them too.
I've met my senior foster mom's daughter and her family. The grandkids really love me as I love kids. I've met their young for legged member of the family named Jack he's a Beagle a little over a year old and his excitement when we met was just a little too much as it made me nervous at first. After a little bit of time out to settle down in crates next to each other it was much better. I was a little use to this young guy so full of energy and bigger than me.
Then I met Dolores Collie who was much bigger than Jack, but a lot more relaxed, plus she was a female. I was looking into this girl's eyes I can't remember her name. Boy she's a fine beauty and as big as she is I was very relaxed.
Before coming to my senior foster mom's place I was with Kelly from TAG. I played with other for legged bundles of love. I paid with Mutty, was cross about her cat that was use to dogs. That was ok, not much more to say about the cat thing.
Both Kelly and my senior foster mom keeps me on a regular feeding schedule with correct measurements for proper nutrition. I love my tastes I get when I go 💩 then for being great going outside I get a great when we return to relax with. I also like to play fetch with my squeaky toy from the dollar store and play with the other stuffed toys my foster mom got me there as I had no toys to play with.
If I'm not snoozing I'm playing with my squeaky toy, chewing on the beef bone or a little on the rawhide bone. My foster mom told TAG's I’m not a barker here at the senior apartments, so you can't even tell I’m here. I living looking out the window to people and animal watching quickly. I've only barked at a jogger once. The ducks, geese, rabbits, and squirrels just catch my attention for a moment if anything. I just continue on walking because I enjoy and love going around to new places to explore.
My foster mom tells me I will make a loving addition to a senior or senior couple, a house with kids so we can play and other dogs. She had caught me up on her recliner a few times, mostly to look out the window. A chair by the window of the windows are high up would be AWESOME for me. I know I'm not allowed unless I'm on her lap. My first mom is so happy she lets me sleep out of my crate at night. I tried on the first day to mark my territory but was told awh, awh that's a no-no; after that I have not gone in the house, nor will I use a potty training pad because I'm create and house trained..
I'm looking for my forever home as soon as TAG's post me as available to ADOPT. Oh, I'm trying to learn commands and know some already. My first mom is trying to teach me to ring a bell to let her know when I want to go potty. I rather stand in front of her to get her attention then point my nose toward the door, walk then sit or lay at the door until she is ready.
I'm a very good small & smart guy just looking for a forever home to be mine.
Below are photos and then some video's to follow. My foster mom keeps telling me she sucks taking videos they are not good at all. Hope you love lots of pictures and videos.
