Family Veterinary Clinic provides a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas.
Records requests and refill requests received in the last month are nearly cleared. We will still be doing records requests but refills should be requested of your new veterinarian! Please email at [email protected] for questions and records

Loads of valuable books here for FREE. Probably could get some money on ebay for them. WE just don't have the time to do it! . If you mail by media mail they're cheap to send. Books on behavior and cookbooks for dogs and lots of veterinary specific texts

Responsible for admission and exit of dogs, correcting aggressive play when needed, and yard clean up as needed.
This is a good illustration of puppy socialization needs, shared from Good as Gold Training, but I would also add that all of the listed exposure and experience needs to feel *safe* for the puppy. If s/he is nervous, tentative, or fearful the fear should be handled by backing off a little and reintroducing very slowly and with lots of praise, food and patience. Sometimes, for the sake of "socialization", owners push their puppies too far and too fast, and it can backfire. Good socialization requires that we "read" our puppies and help them feel safe as they navigate the sounds, textures, people and animals in their new world.
