Eye opening morning. I had an appointment to meet to see how Sniff might be able to help support people/dogs in the community. While I was there, the building was attached by someone who shattered several of their exterior windows.
I was so impressed with how well the staff quickly led us all to safety! There was a lock down and visitors were kept safe inside until the threat secured.
It was scary and I looked around realizing many of these women/children live with chronic fear for their lives and safety 😔
When I left, I felt grateful a place like Rosehaven exists and sad to walk around the glass covering the sidewalks.
I can only imagine the expense to repair the glass and get operations up and running. Please consider a donation to to help them in this low spot 💙

Message from Owner: LOST DOG: WHITE LABRADOODLE FROM TANASBOURNE VET

My brother in law took his dog to the Tanasbourne Emergency Vet last night (at 17400 NW Corridor Ct, Beaverton, OR 97006) at 11:00PM

When he arrived from work last night, she suddenly was unable to stand, her eyes dilated and her breathing became very shallow, so he rushed her to the vet. Upon arrival, he put her down for a split second, and somehow, she mustered up the energy, in her weakened state, to sprint away, and she escaped out of the veterinarian hosp doors and ran away.

He absolutely loves this dog, and he has been out since last night searching for her. He is still looking and hasn't slept.

Please, if you spot her or have already found her, please call or text Josh at.

She might be scared, so please approach her with care. She is a very sweet dog but can be afraid of strangers at times.

Please share this post if possible on your social media so he can bring her .

We are very concerned that she was lost in the middle of a medical emergency, so any information you have would be so helpful.

Meet Beau!

Celebration may be in order because I’ve just broken the world record for goodest boy! I know it may be hard to believe, but I am the perfect new family member for your loving home, even if you don’t have much space. My favorite activities are playing fetch and tug, going on adventurous sniffari walks, and then curling up with my humans for a long, snore-filled nap. Even though toys are life, your personal belongings are safe with me. My head is so big to fit this huge brain of mine! I love learning new things and solving puzzles to keep myself busy. I’m the perfect combination of easygoing independence and human orientation, so you never have to worry about me if you’re having a stay-in-bed lazy day or need some extra kisses.

While I am super respectful of people and their dogs outside, I would probably do best as the only dog in the home due to a tendency for food possessiveness around other animals and a rebellious approach to interacting with dogs. I have not showed any signs of resource guarding with humans, and I actually love sharing my favorite toys and special treats with my people. A dog-savvy cat may be fine, though I also like to try to chase small zoom animals like squirrels and rabbits. Kids are great, and I don’t mind a big noisy family at all. I’ve had baths, nail trims, and lots of car rides and handled that kind of close contact like a champ.

I’m the best boy to take out on long walks because I’m fascinated by everything and can stroll past other dogs and strangers without any issues. I don’t pull or bark at my surroundings, especially if I can trust you to advocate for my comfort. Don’t be surprised if I turn heads with my charm and good looks. I know all the basic skills, like sit, down, and stay, and I’m eager to learn more! If you want to be greeted every day with a big smile, wiggly butt, and a couple “awoo!”s, look no further than this handsome face. Even though I haven’t had much stability in my life so far, I love people and can’t wait to settle down to get spoiled and showered in love. I’d bet that I can give you even more love in return.

Please join us in celebrating Marisa’s 8 year anniversary with Sniff!

Marisa is our hotel manager and we are so lucky to have her on our team. She’s always making sure our guests are receiving the best care and supporting our staff in every possible way.

Marisa is one of the most caring people we’ve ever met and her passion for animal welfare is inspiring. When she’s not taking care of pups in the hotel, she’s fostering and taking care of rescue dogs at home. She’s a hero!

Marisa is truly special to us and so many others! We are incredibly grateful for her and appreciate all that she’s does!

This adventure is great for pups that love the outdoors. Our trainer will take your pup for a designated hike in Forest Park (NW) or Waterhouse Park (Beaverton) with an extra long leash to allow freedom to explore. We will practice attention and recall. This is a great combination of training, physical exercise and mental stimulation. 🐾
