“Like a pig to mud” 🐷🐖💦

Junior is reminding everyone to stay cool today!! We will be emptying and refilling his piggy pool multiple times today to help him stay cool and hydrated. The water was crystal clear less than a minute before this pic was taken!

Reminders for hot weather:
Never leave your animal in a parked car!
Try to walk your dogs early in the morning or late evening when it is cooler.
Keep walks and exercise short. It’s too hot!
Make sure your dog or cat has access to plenty of fresh water.
Watch out for hot pavement!

We are sad to say that Dr. Solomon and his family will be moving to Connecticut. He is leaving on good terms and we will miss him a lot. Good news is that he will be coming back periodically to help out. If you know that you would like to see him, these are the dates so far that he will be back at Canal Clinic helping out your furry little family members:

Dear Canal Clinic Family,

We will begin to welcome people back inside the clinic on June 1st 2021. It has been a long time, we appreciate your patience and look forward to seeing you in person. Please know that we WILL continue to offer CAR SERVICE to ALL people vaccinated or not. If you choose not to come in we will continue to come out and offer the same service that we have been for well over a year. We are happy to offer this service which some people have really enjoyed.

Please be aware that we do have a few restrictions in place:

- ALL PEOPLE (REGARDLESS OF VACCINE STATUS) MUST WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES WHEN INSIDE. This may change soon for us but for now please wear your mask.

- If you are not feeling well or under the weather, OR if you have been exposed to someone else who has recently tested Positive for COVID, Please DO NOT come inside. If your pet needs to be seen then Car service will be performed and we request that you please wear a mask.

- Full Disclosure- 2 of our staff members have elected not to get the vaccine for personal reasons. They will be masked at all times.

It has been a long 1.5 years and we are making changes based on the current recommendations and trends that exist. There is a chance that restrictions may change with COVID updates.
