Meet Dutchess County SPCA's Pet of the Day: BRAM!

Hi, I’m Bram! I’m a really straight forward & brave girl. I am one of the most outgoing cats at the shelter, and I often greet my human visitors at the door! I love to play with toys (especially ones with catnip) and I really enjoy being around other cats. However, if there is a human around all I want is affection from them! I’ve been at the shelter longer than expected for how sweet I am. So while I’ve been waiting I made a short list of what I hope for in my furever home… a person to cuddle at night to keep me warm, unconditional love, and my food bowl always full. Please come visit me, I'll be waiting at the door!

Hi there friends, my name is Fate!
I am a cute and chunky little lady hoping to find my special someone. I am definitely one of the sweetest girls around! I absolutely love getting butt rubs, and I have been told I give the BEST kisses! I am looking to be the only pet in your home, as I have so much love to give and I would love to be the center of your attention. I am a bit overweight, so I am currently on an exercise regimen to help shed some pounds for the summer. If you enjoy going for walks around the neighborhood, I would make an excellent walking buddy!

Lastly, I am considered special needs due to being diagnosed with hypothyroidism, and I am currently receiving a twice-daily medication to manage my condition.

Guys...we had a call from one of our animal controls and we had to act fast. There was a very sensitive situation involving law enforcement and hospitalization leaving EIGHT little ones needing our help badly and though we knew it would be a lot to take on at once, how could we not help? Here’s where you all come in: can you help us help them? If you can give $5-$10-WHATEVER!- it is going to give these beautiful babies a chance at a loving future.
