Tucked away, amidst the rolling hills of the Palouse, lives a herd of goats who are small in stature, but stand proud with their long tresses blowing in the wind.

I need help naming these two boys! I prefer the names to start with the letter "S." The darker buckling is staying here to grow out, while the lighter buckling will be wethered and is available😁

This is a prime example of why I haven't shown any of my senior does...I can not keep hair on them😭The fencing I put up for them is secure and holds babies in well, but it also pulls out hair when they rub along it. Piper is one of the more extreme cases...others are not nearly as bad, but still not show condition. At least their shorter hair is sleek and shiny🤦‍♀️🥴

The sun as it was setting tonight. My boys said it looked like the sun on Tatooine setting behind the sand dunes . It was just a big, red ball that wasn't bright to look at...more like the moon than the sun.

The moon looked stunning as it was rising above the hills of Moscow tonight! By the time I got home and tucked in the animals, the sunset was pretty stunning as well💕

Had a visitor come down to the creek tonight while I was filling the horse water. The girls were on high alert, while everyone else just ignored it🤣 There wasn't enough light left for good pics, but at least you can see what it is😉

This little stinker realized I had turned the fence off and tried to go exploring...it didn't work out too well for her🤣 TTF Smokey Eye was very happy to be rescued from her restraints in the blazing hot heat. I'm thankful she was yelling so that I could find her easily!

Let the boys out for a bit, but they are only interested in the girls...and chewing on my clothes🤣 Had to take advantage of the temp being closer to 90° than 100°🥵 before we are up over 100° again. I haven't even brought my camera out in over a week...I think my Alaskan roots are showing (and wilting)🤣🤣

Dropped my baby girl off to get a little training before she is sold. She gets to go through Baby Boot Kamp and will be offered for sale through Myranda Townsend at Cowgirl Tuff C**t Training in Clarkston, WA. I already miss my sweet girl💕

Stanley Cup got to meet his new family yesterday! He is such a fun, special, little guy and I think he is going to thrive while being spoiled rotten by his new family. He is becoming a well travelled little guy and has been in E. WA, Idaho, Utah, and now W. WA. He arrived at his new home and has settled in as if he has always been there💕 I already miss my little parrot, but couldn't have asked for a better family for him.

We also brought home an adorable new face! Meet CCF3 Kamikaze💕 He has already settled in and follows the big bucks around like he has always been here. Storm Rider traded places with him and went to live at Coldwater Canyon Farms in Utah. If you haven't checked them out yet, Dave Sharon Hougaard are amazing people with gorgeous animals. Go follow them for fun updates!

Day #2 was another great day at the show! It was only 1/2 a day and then we loaded up and drove home. Cupcake had a fabulous day and won 2 second place ribbons! Stanley did great again in his wether class and won 2x 1st and 1x 2nd with one reserve grand champion wether win as well💕 The icing on the cake was when KISS was honored with a Best in Show win in the very last class of the day!!! Such a great way to end the show🩷

Day #1 of the show is complete! The girls didn't place in the ribbons, but it was great practice for them. Stanley had a great day in his wether classes. He won 3x 1st, a 2nd, and 2x 4th places and went on to win a grand champion wether and a reserve grand champion wether💕 He worked so hard that he needed to take a lot of naps today🤣 KISS also had a great day! He won 3x 2nd and 3x 1st places. He also won a reserve grand champion senior buck and then 3x grand champion senior buck! He got that last point (plus some) that he needed to become a Master Champion🥰

Today was a long day of washing goats and catching up with friends💕 I was so busy I didn't get many pictures🤣 Now it's time to get some sleep because tomorrow is show day!

Thanks everyone! We made it safely and the goats are all tucked in for the night😴 The rabbits have taken over the back of the trailer and will hopefully enjoy stretching their legs a bit.

We are loaded and about to begin the drive to Malad, ID! See you all in Many, Many hours🤣

Can you believe these two boys are 5 1/2 weeks old?! They are growing so fast! I caved and decided that I'm holding onto the darker one to see how he grows out. His brother is still available as either a buck, or a wether. He can tag along to Malad💕😉
