There will be a pop-up market and Pointer Bee Farm will bee selling honey.

60's & 70's Fahrenheit then plumbing to twenties and thirties is a good mix for chilled brood. One symptom new adults partially emerged with tongues sticking out, as you can see in this photo.

Good day in beeyard. 90% of the hives got oxciled acid treatment and checked for stores and added dry sugar if needed. Snow in the forecast other 10% will have to wait. I hope your girls are doing well.

45+ degree day. Killing mites in winter months will increase their odds of survival

I've noticed requeening in fall helps your spring buildup and less likely to swarm then a queen from this spring.

We will have Rahway Honey for sale this Saturday July 10th from 10am till 2pm. Our Honey comes in 8oz, 12oz & 12oz Chunk Comb Honey for $10, $15 & $20 cash only.
Our prices are $0.25 over national average and $0.50 with go to buy wildflower seed to be planted across NJ. These wildflowers will help pollinators, the soil and add color to the landscape.
Look for the local honey flag on Elm Ave. when we run out the flag will come down and that's it till next year.

Was waking by some of our mating nucs and noticed a ball of bees on a marking brick. Looks like she was doing the flight of sham and her sister caught her.
