When a client loses their dog, they usually tell me they won’t be getting another dog anytime soon. So imagine my joy when one of those clients reached out telling me another pup stole their heart and asked me if I could walk him. Newest member to the pack, Ryman.

I love my job. The only thing I truly hate about it are days like yesterday.
Bella was my very first client back when I started 7 years ago. She was the sweetest girl. We all knew she was getting old and her body was just done. Her owner gave me the chance yesterday to take her out one final time and say goodbye. This is our final picture together. She crossed the rainbow bridge last night. No more pain for this girl. But some serious heartache for me. Run free sweet Bella. You will always be that special girl to me.

Every dog in my pack feels like my own dog. I treat them like I treat my own dog. I love them as if they were my own. So when anyone of them crosses the rainbow bridge I feel that loss as if it was my own…. This girl was so precious, so sweet. Run free miss Ginger. No more pain for you sweet girl. ❤️

Proud of all the pups in my care.

Also a good time to introduce this VIP (Very Important Pup) in the AWD family. This is Tofu. She’s a rescue. I’ve had her for about 8 months now and she makes every day better.

Welcome to the pack Riley! It took some time for this girl to open up. She has some anxiety and trust issues. But it didn’t take her long to blossom. She is loving her playtime in the backyard and neighborhood walks.
