Posted • We sold land back to the county and moved the business to Chehalis in 2020. It was important to my family that the land stay accessible to the community and to protect the stream for future generations. I miss outdoor preschool, all the animals, and the wonderful daily interactions talking chickens, veggies, and more. That has been balanced though with the ability to work remotely, focus on formulating new products and learning more about soil science, as well as spending quality time with my family. I will always have wonderful memories of and what we created. ❤️

CJ needs a home! Some of you may remember her from your visits into our office. Unfortunately we don’t have a good home for her as we are shutting down the farm. She is an older cat, very very affectionate, wonderful with kids, not so great with other cats. If anyone is interested or has a lead on a good home please let us know!

We are open for business still from 9-4:30pm during the week and closed on weekends. We ask that you please stay in your vehicle and call or honk and we will be happy to bring you whatever you need. We are fully stocked on soils, compost, soil amendments and fertilizers, and other gardening supplies. Thanks for allowing us to keep working and minimize contact. We found poisonous hemlock on the property which is a very toxic and invasive plant. It looks a lot like parsley, wild carrot, dill, Queen Anne's Lace, etc. Ingestion can lead to death (ask Socrates), but also just touching or inhaling this plant can cause significant illness to people and pets.

We hope you enjoy our over-the-top preventative measure as we pulled these plants out to show you how to identify it.
