As the Puna lava flow continues it's course, threatening communities and businesses that get in her way, people send their prayers for loved ones' safety, and desperately want to help in some way. The 3-year-old Great Dane was miserable and retching when its owners rushed him to a northwest Portland emergency animal hospital. It was something he ate.

Always a beautiful day when we write our donation checks for our rescues on-board with P.O.O.P - Protect Our Only Planet (tm). Monies headed toward 4Life Animal Rescue, Basset Hound Rescue Southern California, Citizens for a No-Kill Philadelphia, Humane Society Silicon Valley, Intermountain Therapy Animals, John Gill Elementary School, (San Carlos Education Foundation), Kpets PetTherapy, Lucky Pup Rescue. We love the work these great organizations do for our lost, abandoned and abused furbabies :)

Let's all help the Hounds of Southern California...BHRSC15 saves you $$$!

We got P.O.O.P. for everyone! Thank you Team P.O.O.P. (Protect Our Only Planet) for being the official bio-degrabable p**p bag of the 17th Annual Spring Games on Saturday. P.O.O.P. bag samples are inside of the "wag bags" and will be available at the BHRSC Volunteer Booth. Team P.O.O.P has provided coupons and bags for all the hounds at Spring Games. A portion of all orders from BHRSC supporters get donated to the hounds.
