Our SERVPRO of Montrose/Telluride Pet of the Month for November is Latte. ❤ 🐾 ☕
Latte has been at Second Chance for nearly a year. In that time, staff and volunteers have worked with her to build her confidence and understand her personality. She’s a smart dog, who wants to be near her person. She thinks she’s a lap dog, despite weighing almost 70 pounds. Lately, she has been really stressed at the shelter and desperately needs a loving home. (970)626-2273 or [email protected]

Busy Day for our Event Team!
Because we have such wonderful staff and volunteer support, we scheduled TWO adoption events on Saturday, 10/26. 🐾 ❤ 💟
1. Chow Down in Montrose from 10am to Noon: Kittens, kittens, kittens.
2. Ouray Hot Springs Pool Floating Pumpkin Patch from 1-3pm. Dogs: Susie, Dawn, Odie, and Fergus. Plus- kittens who don't go home from Chow Down!

🐾 ❤ Almost a year ago, George and Latte came to Second Chance as part of a multi-dog emergency intake. They had been backyard dogs, receiving no medical care and minimal socialization. We have worked so hard to get these two young dogs socialized. Our volunteers and staff have spent countless hours walking them, playing with them, throwing balls, and teaching them that people are fun and trustworthy.
At this point, we need foster homes for George and Latte. Ideally, a quiet place with patient, dog-savvy people who can give them time to understand what it means to live in a home. Long-term foster or adoption is the best scenario, but even a few weeks to unwind and relax would help them so much.
