Lightness Tournament Zoom Meeting:

The time has come to get ready for the Lightness Tournament coming up in March! We wanted to have a virtual meeting for anyone interested to get all the information we can pack into 1 hour 🙂 We hope to answer most of the most asked questions in this meeting. However if there is something we missed, we will have a Q&A towards the end. We are going to mute everyone coming into the meeting so there isnt too much feedback, but if you raise your hand in zoom or put in the chat box that you have a question we will get to it.

Edit Kappel riding her magnificent Lipizzaner forwards into an easy neck extension.

We can see that Edit’s legs are not drumming or pressuring him forwards but instead are allowing him to go, She has asked, he has happily said yes., then she’s got out of his way.

Her feet are balanced in the stirrups and are not serving as a lever for her body. Her aids are agreeing rather than opposing

Our Story

For over 30 years, I have offered Equitation and Training from Western and Trail, to Hunters and Dressage, using Classical Dressage to help riders and horses be great partners. Most recently, Western Dressage and Working Equitation has been my primary focus. I am a CAWDA Mentor, WDAA Train the Trainers Graduate, and WEUnited competitor. Private and group lessons available by appointment.

Workshops in Working Equitation and Western Dressage can be arranged at your facility. At our facility - A Stable Named Desire, we offer workshops and private sessions:

** Lead Line clinics for children 7 and under. Exercises and games for the kids and leaders.

** Trail Obstacle Clinics. Teach your horse the basics for obstacle work. Under Saddle or In-Hand.
