Good morning everyone. We would like to apologize about our Petfinder and our google. For some reason our Petfinder is showing double posts of some of our dogs here and has not taken some of the dogs off from it. We know that it also shows that we are closed seven days a week. We are currently open 7 days a week for our regular business hours. I also saw that our Google when it is searched sometimes also shows we are closed. We are open 7 days a week regular business hours. We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this may have cause you all.

If you believe you see your pet here, please stop into the City of Rio Rancho Animal Resource Center located at 3441 Northern Blvd. Between 10am-4:30pm Monday through Saturday to identify them with proof of ownership through veterinary records and/or current photos. A reclaim fee may apply.
Reclaims will NOT be processed over the phone. Unclaimed stray animals are subject to behavior evaluations, veterinary care, and may or may not be available for adoption after stray hold.
Pets brought in as strays with signs of ownership (sweaters, collars, harnesses, well-groomed or with a chip) are put on a longer hold then ones "without" signs of ownership.
