Since Saturday was a washout I had a few extra bouquets leftover after the market - I took each bouquet apart and combined them into a big vase of flowers for me. It’s a little crazy town but I love it - and that’s what counts 😉

Just finished washing duck eggs for tomorrow - we sell out of duck eggs every week so make sure to get there early! Available tomorrow morning at Salem Farmers Market from 8:00 - 12:00. We will have fresh flower bouquets and peppers too - see you then!

BTW - you can recycle your duck egg carton by bringing it back to us when you’re finished - it will help us keep our costs down (duck egg cartons are more $ than chicken egg cartons) and is better for the planet!

My newest creation will make its debut at the Botetourt Farmers Market Tomato Festival - introducing my version of a Gardeners Soap - that happens to look like a tomato!

As a farmer/gardener I know how hard it can be to get all the dirt and plant residue off your hands at the end of the day. So l made a soap with enough grit (pumice) to clean without being too rough in your skin. And because all that handwashing can be drying, I added aloe to keep your skin feeling great!!

Show your hard-working hands a little love! Come see me on Saturday, July 27th at Buchanan Town Park for the Tomato Festival!!

Yesterday was Level Up day! For those of you with no idea what I'm talking about - instead of being sad about being another year older I celebrate my achievements (and my birthday aka getting older) by Leveling Up instead.

Level 48 is complete - the surgery battle at the very end of the level was a bit rough but I managed to find some pretty cool items to help me with the first part of Level 49...they won't last the entire level so l'm using them to my advantage for as long as I need them.

Socks of Compression are for keeping evil blood clots at bay!

Crutches are a difficult tool to use but they give me amazing upper body strength!

And my favorite is the Hinged Exoskeleton Armor that I got for my right leg! I get bonus healing the entire time I wear it!!

l'm super sad but due to a medical issue requiring surgery, I am unable to attend Botetourt Farmers Market for a few weeks, beginning June 23rd. I'll be out for at least 2 weeks (wishful thinking), maybe up to 4 weeks - so if you need soap come see me to stock up before my hiatus!

The other half of Moon Blossom Farm will continue to set up at Salem Farmers Market with bouquets and produce while I heal up!

The website will still be up and running so you can always order soap online for shipping or arrange for pickup around a somewhat limited schedule...

l've been wanting to do this for a while now and tomorrow is the day! In addition to my regular offerings of soaps and houseplants, l'll have "Bubbles & Blooms" available at Botetourt Farmers Market tomorrow from 830-12 or until sold out. Take home a small mason jar flower arrangement and a bar of soap (your choice) for $20!
It's a steal of a deal and there will only be 7 of these deals available so get there early - see you tomorrow!

It's raining yet again... how about a little sunshine courtesy of some locally grown sunflowers? Flower bouquets will be at Salem Farmers Market tomorrow from 8-12, along with duck eggs, organically grown veggies and a few houseplants.
Maybe sometime we will bring the bus to the market too!

We seem to be in a weather pattern of crummy weather on Saturdays followed by better weather on Sundays.

A fresh batch of my Tea Tree Charcoal soap is hitting the curing rack today and will be ready in just a few weeks! Like all my soaps, it's made with my signature h**p soap recipe and features Tea Tree essential oil and activated charcoal - it's one of the most popular scents in my essential oil soap line 🥰

l've been keeping a secret...and I am so excited I can't keep it in any longer...l'm going to have sunflowers in my Mother's Day bouquets!

I took a chance and luck was on my side so now I get to share them with you! I'll be outside the rest of the day today harvesting all the beautiful flowers that (thankfully) bloomed just in time! Stay tuned for the bouquet pics later today!

This season, we are sticking to a simplified schedule - If you can’t make it to one of the weekly markets, you can always shop our online store - where we offer shipping anywhere in the US or pickup and delivery in Roanoke, VA.

Speaking of delivery, I travel quite a bit with my day job and am often in Lynchburg, Charlottesville, and South Boston so if your order lines up with a travel day I can do long distance delivery as well!

I even travel out of state on a regular basis so on occasion, I could do limited delivery in a few locations…

These tulips were the leftovers of my very first flowers I brought to market last April. I remember exactly how excited I felt when I sold my very first ever bouquet that day. And I still feel that way every time I sell something I grew or made!

I am filled with so much love for
every.single.person that helped make this possible. Your likes, shares, and kind words along the way kept me going. Getting to know my customers and see them each week was just awesome! And for the new friends I've made along the way, words cannot begin to describe how much I appreciate each of you!

It all started with a dream and to those of you who played a part in making it come true, I am eternally grateful!

I realize that these numbers may seem small to those of you with actual farms and brick and mortar stores but to me it's HUGE! We are growing all of this in raised beds on a half lot in the city, utilizing a tiny cheap (pretty much useless) greenhouse, and making soap in our home. I'm damn proud of these numbers and can't wait to see what we accomplish in 2024!

Baby chicken update - they are growing fast and have names - Betty White, Agent Scully, and LeBron James the rooster! They are too small to join the rest of the flock so they are getting some outside time to explore and discover treasures…like dead leaves 😂😂😂

Moon Blossom Farm has new residents! Names are undecided (2 hens and 1 rooster) at the moment but they are super cute! Thank you Meyer Hatchery for shipping them to us so quickly! They are eating and drinking and doing well!
