‼️Yesterday I found out that scammers created a website under my name HappyBeast cattery, they wrote that they are also registered with TICA.

✅️Please, to avoid falling for scammers, ask for a personal meeting at the cattery, or a video call, to make sure that this is a real cattery (look at the kitten’s parents), also check where the cattery is registered, the city and the name of the owner must match.

📛 Be careful, there are a lot of scammers now, they are taking advantage of cheap prices

😻How to organize everything right without unnecessary hassle!😻

First and foremost! The GOLDEN RULE:

✅️First ✅️
🔥Ask about how the little one grew up at the breeder's place. What scratching posts, litter box, filler, food, toys, combs, and nail clippers it got used to. Basically, get the lowdown.

✅️The SECOND ✅️
🔥Where to get all this stuff! Over the years, every breeder has trusted suppliers or manufacturers.

✅️The THIRD ✅️
🔥Get all the essentials for the initial period. Avoid extras. I get it. It's tough to resist the temptation to get half the store, but trust me, when the little one arrives, you'll end up running to get more anyway!

😜🐈So, leave your wallet in peace. You can always add more later!

Here's my must-have list for those head over heels for my kittens:

🔴 Litter boxes. Since I have many giants, I buy litter boxes... at Home Depot. Maine C**ns find it comfy to use really large ones, tail and all. If you bought a kitten, remember, it will grow very fast. Don't splurge on items for tiny kittens. I use So Phresh Extreme Clumping Unscented Grass Seed Cat Litter, a natural filler; in the beginning, use a filler familiar to the kitten.

🔴 Cardboard scratching posts, I get them at Ross and Marshall's. Cheaper there. Scratching posts and poles, I buy at Petco. Again, remember that Maine C**ns are huge cats, so go for the sturdy ones. Although some still love their kitten poles and use them to this day.

Toys are a crucial part of a Maine C**n's entertainment. Choose safe toys so they can't chew off any part and end up at the vet. Always consider whether the toy could harm your fluffball.

🔴Food. I have dry and wet food for kittens. I try to get them used to a wide variety for the convenience of future owners. Since my kittens can eat a broad range of food, it means their digestive system is healthy.

🔴Bowls – separate ones for water and 2-3 for food. I don't recommend plastic dishes due to their porosity, where bacteria love to settle. I use food-grade glass for drinking and CORELLE for food.

🔴You can get a carrier anywhere, just make sure it passes the crash test.

🎁🎄🎁The list can be expanded, but this is what you need for the initial period. You can acquire the rest later or replace it with what you prefer.

The main thing is to make sure the little one has everything familiar and comfortable for the first 2-4 weeks. Then the adaptation will go smoothly!"

🎄 Christmas and Cats 😻

❄️Christmas is a magical holiday not only for us but also for our furry friends.

🔥Tinsel, garlands, and decorations on the tree bring pure feline joy. However, this joy can turn into trouble or a visit to the vet if we don't follow some rules for a safe celebration.🔥

⛔️To ensure a safe Christmas and keep your cat healthy, here are 3 POINTS:

✅️Tree decoration and securing it. We recommend plastic ornaments and battery-operated lights. Other options are a NO-GO.

✔️ Glass ornaments = injuries,
✔️electric lights from the outlet = electric shock,
✔️ chewing tinsel, confetti, etc. = intestinal blockage = surgery.
✔️Fireworks, poppers, loud parties = increased stress and potential illnesses.

✅️ If you want to enjoy a festive celebration with friends, provide a quiet room with a cozy cat house.
Allow your cat to get accustomed beforehand. No suitable space? Purchase Calm Down pills and start giving them a couple of days in advance.

⚠️ Food from the table. "It's just once, it's a celebration." Not allowed!
Abrupt change in the regular diet = gastrointestinal issues. Keep an eye on the table⚠️
