Yesterday was a busy day for us as we celebrated Father’s Day and welcoming 2 litters to our caviary. 2nd black sow mom x Dalmation gave birth yesterday as I thought she would. She gave us 5 great sized babies. 2 dals, one which is a low marked dal and 3 blacks. So here they are, boar, boar, boar, sow and a sow of course🥰 Thank now gives us a total of 5 boars and 3 sows out of my black X dals. Still waiting on one for black mom to go. Dad once again passed down that satin gene as well.

Just had a litter of Americans born this morning. Happy Father’Day to our new littles, 2 boars and a sow. 1 dal is a skinny carrier and the other one is a satin. Still waiting on the other 2 gals to give us their pups. Pretty happy with this outcome though 🥰

Here they are boar, boar, sow and sow. All doing well and range from 92-71 grams. Let’s see how these guys do, her last litter she had of 4 the runt died after 3 days and then the next few days another one passed. So last litter only 2 survived, hoping for a better outcome this time.

We are waiting on 2 self black American sows to deliver their babies. They were breed to Jordan Hollows American Dalmation boar. They other sow is a self black skinny carrier so let’s see what they give us.

Late last night when I went to feed and water everyone to tuck them in for bed I found a little surprise. The most beautiful little texel I have ever produced. And it’s a girl, the most perfect little singleton ever. She will stay with momma since momma does not seem to like any of my girls. At least she will have a buddy and we will be keeping her. If they ever leave they will have to go as a pair. Meet Esmerelda🥰

Updated pics on the pups born yesterday. 1 red Peruvian and 2 silkies. Again not the outcome I was expecting out of a TSW Peruvian pairing. Unsure if they are satins, even though they all look shiny that seems to fade away after a few weeks with this line.

3 more beautiful Peruvians joined us today. 2 boars and a sow. All 3 are exactly 110 grams each. That’s the 1st thing that has happened. Here are a few quick pics, will take more tomorrow. Not what I expected from a TSW pairing.

Update: after looking at them again the red one is a Peruvian while the other 2 are silkies. Definitely not what I expected out of this Peruvian pairing. Genetics are crazy sometimes

Woke up this morning and checked in on everyone! They all finished their Timothy foraging hay AKA Heavenly Hay! And let me tell you what, my caviary smells amazing! Cal pattern Abby is up next. I have used him for several litters and I am not getting the results I want. So he needs a place of his own. Will do fine with a submissive or younger boar. Here is the difference between chocolate and black pointed Cal patterns. These girls are sisters and this pic is a great example. Left sow is the black pointed and the right one is the chocolate pointed which takes forever to point out. Girls will be 6 weeks tomorrow for reference
