Miss Taylor has found a loving family to take care of her! Thank you so much to everyone for sharing our post and for those who reached out to us! ❤️

Meet Taylor! She is 8 yrs old, newly spayed & vaccinated and needs a loving home!

She loves other dogs and really loves people! She is at the mercy of anyone who will love her! She is a lap dog for sure! And she LOVES cuddling! She’s very social & playful! If she doesn’t have a bone to chew or toys she will seek out something! She hasn’t ruined anything with that stuff available to her!

She has been confined to a back porch most of her time, so she will need help potty training! She’s very smart and as long as I watch her cues and take her outside she doesn’t mess in my house! If she has to be left alone she happily goes in her crate for a treat! She sleeps in her crate at night to keep her from having an accident in the house, but does like to snuggle under the blanket in bed!

When she’s outside it’s very exciting and new for her so she will have to be leashed walked or in a fenced in yard! Her nose hits the ground and she runs wherever it takes her! We have been working on her coming when I yell for her and she is learning! She likes to be outside with the other dogs and myself!

She did chase our cat, but has learned that she can’t! Shes very interested in our beardie when he moves around to. She hasn’t showed any aggression towards them, just fun curiosity!

And before anyone asks why we don’t keep her, it’s not that we don’t already love & enjoy her! We have 5 dogs, a cat and a beardie!

Tinker is being returned because her adopter “doesn’t have time for her”. After 5 months she doesn’t have time for a dog. A dog that she committed to love, train and do whatever needed to be done to keep her safe and feel loved. We work tirelessly screening and we ask the difficult questions to ensure our animals are going to what we feel are the best homes for them. It is frustrating when people don’t answer honestly, don’t think about possible changes in situations and plan for them and don’t take pet ownership seriously. The animal is the one that ultimately pays the price!!! YES, we are happy she is being returned to us instead of a shelter (which is against our contract) but wish she had a family willing to make her a priority.
If you can foster Tinker so that we have a safe place for her to land while she waits for forever please apply today!!! This baby is losing her home just in time for the holidays. 😞
