As a groomer I would LOVE to be your dog’s favorite person but that’s not always going to be the case. Being groomed can take a lot out of your pet. Each dog has their own set of boundaries and obstacles to over come. Some need a little extra time,care, and breaks. All of this is ok! It’s my job to listen to their needs and fears and respect that. Even if this means ending the groom and coming back another time! This sweet girl is 16 and has a tough time being groomed. This was the first time she let me do ANYTHING near her face let alone get the matting. I am beyond proud of her. For Bella this is the finished groom and we’re taking that as a win today!

The bearded lady came to visit today!
She is the type of pup that needs an understanding hand and positive reinforcement (just a little extra love). She’s a nervous girl but I got a tail wag at the end of the groom. To me that’s the biggest reward I can get 🥰

Did you know dogs have their own pet safe hair dye? They come in so many fun colors and you can even do different shapes like hearts and stars!
This cutie had a cut and color today and I’d say she’s a happy customer 😉

This sweet boy has to come back to be finished but that’s ok! If that’s what he needs to be safely groomed while also being comfy; then so be it!
