We are a little over a week away until the 4th! Here are some tips to keep your pets safe!
•Make sure they are wearing some sort of identification. (I.e: collar with a name tag, microchip registered to you.)
•Parties are going to happen, it’s best to keep your pet indoors with some enrichment toys such as puzzles, frozen treats(frozen blueberries, plain Greek yogurt, pet-safe veggies, etc.)
•Fireworks are not safe to be put off near your pets! Even sparklers! Keep your pet kenneled if they’re the personable type, to prevent burns or possible ingestion of fireworks.
And lastly, if you think sedatives would help your pet the best, PLEASE CALL YOUR VET NOW. We at Companion require a 24 hour notice of any refills of prescriptions as we are headed into our busier months, most of the time we are unable to fill medications the same day you call it in!
We will be closed Tuesday July 4th in observance of the holiday. I’m case of an emergency please call Pacific and Santa Cruz at 831-475-5400
