Live Oak Veterinary Neurology is seeking a full time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are a progressive veterinary specialty practice with expertise in veterinary neurology and neurosurgery.
As a Veterinary Technician your job entails several important aspects of our hospital;
animal care and treatment, customer service, and hospital cleanliness.
Requirements for the position are:
-Blood draws
-Placing IV catheters in multiple locations
-intubation & extubation
-Setting up x-ray and taking films
-Troubleshoot and maintain anesthesia machines
-Critical care monitoring
-Proper and effective animal restraint
-Able lift objects or pets of at least 30lbs
-Strong communication skills
-Must be able to work well within a team
-Responsible and reliable
-Has compassion for clients, patients and team members
Pay and Benefits
$24 - $27.00 per hour
Benefits: 401(k), 401(k) matching
