Cate Horsemanship

Cate Horsemanship This page is a branch of C Bar 3 Horses. Horse training services offered, specializing in ground work, western disciplines and ba****ck.

Goal is to create a friendly, willing environment for both horse and handler using natural horsemanship methods. I also offer natural hoof trimming services. Start to finish, ground training, under saddle, problem solving, trailering issues, de-spooking and more. A quick background about myself...
I was born into a horse family over 35 years ago and started training my first horse at 10 years old.

I competed in 4H and several local open schooling shows as a youth exhibitor. While in college at Oregon State University, I took classes from the Rammerstorfers (NRHA exhibitors & judge) to begin my learning path and passion towards reining and working cattle. I discovered a love for cutting and other cow work related disciplines, but access to cattle is hard to find. I obtained a minor in Equine Science, as horses are my passion, along with a bachelors degree in Forestry & almost a 2nd degree in Rangeland Management. I have trained too many horses to count, of all ages/sex, various breeds, varying levels of training, abused, problem, tune up, starting and the average horse. I love riding ba****ck but I also ride in both western or english saddles with western being preferred. I have also achieved riding bridle-less and ba****ck on a number of horses. In 2004 I began competing in local ABRA horse shows in reining, gaming and a few select other disciplines. My 1997 AQHA/ABRA mare, Angel, and I quickly began earning points in ABRA. However, my compeition career has been limited due to getting married and starting a family. I'm now getting back into competition through ABRA, ASHA, WSSH, and other local associations. I hope to compete in OQHA events as well in the future. Some of my accomplishments include
