Busy few weeks! Featuring mostly Benny! Her owners are coming back from their 3 weeks trip soon-- she is SO ready to see them again!

Benny gets very anxious and needy when her family travels, which is not uncommon at all! Giving her reassurance *while also helping her maintaining boundaries* is important in order for the energy of the pack as a whole.

Meet Benny! This sweet and happy girl was already very well-trained by her owners, but struggled to keep her excitement in check when guests came through the front door-- a very common issue. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

After a few sessions and some hard work from Benny, she has learned to wait for the newcomers to approach her on their own terms! Good dog, Benny ❤⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Cassie is our little pack's most recent addition. She was found by McKenna at 10mo being severely neglected and abused. After a tough battle, Cass was finally surrendered. Cassie came home to us at just 30lbs, half of her healthy body weight. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
She has come so far in these past few months, and we can't wait to see her continued growth!

Miss Lady Nova was next. Also found on Craigslist by a roommate, Nova was being rehomed at 5 years old. When her owner moved out, it was decided that Nova was better off staying with McKenna and Cubbie, and we were more that happy to keep her around! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Then along came Cubbie... Found being rehomed on Craigslist at just 8 weeks old, Cubbie was McKenna's first dog of her own. It has been such a journey, and it was because of this clever and determined pup that McKenna fell in love with training. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Daisy was the next 'little' love of McKenna's-- although she's not so little anymore! Daisy joined the family in July of 2017 at just 12lbs. Now, at 4yo, she is 10x that-- 120lbs! We love every bit of her. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Kai was the next dog who stole McKenna's heart. A loyal, gentle, and truly good dog, Kai was loved by everyone, and was there for our entire family, even until the very end. He truly was the best dog. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
