Solomon Update
Thursday Feb 15

Theresa says the miracles keep coming! His doctor says with the great improvement in Solomon’s heart, there is also improvement in kidney function. Possibly instead of dialysis until a transplant is available, it may be only a year and his body will heal itself with no transplant!

Our love and prayers are working! Please continue to keep him and his family in your heart!

Theresa picked up all the cards and donations a few days ago and she says thank you with her deepest love and appreciation.

Your words of love and encouragement will be there for Solomon to read during his recovery.

Tammie Dickison is wife to Darin and mother to Cody.

On November 26th, Tammie went to urgent care because she was coughing uncontrollably and unable to breathe well while coughing. The entire family was still recovering from having Covid in mid October. So, we thought this episode was Covid-related. However, after a few tests and scans, the doctor at the emergency room in Flagstaff, AZ came in with some news no one expected.

After reviewing scans and x-rays they told Tammie her breathing problem is related to a huge mass they found on her kidney. In looking further they discovered the mass was cancer and had spread into lymph nodes and lungs.

This news was devastating for the family. They have no health insurance and Darin has been unable to work full time for the past 10 years due to injuries suffered during 24 years of roofing. So, Tammie has been the main breadwinner for the family for years and now with her recent diagnosis, she will be unable to work for a long period of time - if ever again.

With this diagnosis the family is trying to get help from the state for insurance purposes because the bills from hospital stay will be devastating, not to mention long cancer treatment, which will not begin without some type of medical insurance. However, it will take time for the state to process their application and there are many urgent expenses that must be addressed immediately.

Even prior to Tammi’s diagnosis, everyday was a struggle for the family to pay bills, pay the mortgage and to handle all other financial needs. Darin is only able to work sporadically due to a multitude of debilitating issues and nerve damage that prevents him from being able to stand or sit for long periods of time.

Needless to say this family is in dire straits. Their one son Cody works full time and has moved in with them to help out in this time of crisis but it is just not enough. They need more financial support to help cover Tammi’s hospital bills and for the life saving treatment she needs to begin immediately.

The Dickison family has been in the Sedona area for many years. Darin is actually a native born in Sedona in 1967. They are proud, hard working people of faith and it is very hard for them to ask for help but they currently have no choice.

The Dickisons understand their future is in the hands of God, while their normal everyday living and existence has been turned upside down. They also understand that God works through us all and so they are reaching out to any and all who are able and feel moved to help.

Any donation amount would be so greatly appreciated. We Sincerely Appreciate any help that can be offered.
