We’ve been busy the last couple weekends!!

First, I’d like to give a warm welcome to Toby and his owner Suzette to the Stone Creek Family. We are so happy to have you both here❤️

Secondly, we cut a short trail through the woods for us to ride on! It is so pretty riding through the woods during the fall🍂

Lastly, we have been doing A LOT of upgrades with more to come on the fences in all the fields and lean to sheds. Our new field is almost complete as well!!! We just need to get some tin to finish it up. Which means we will have 2 more spots available for boarding. Reach out if you’re interested, I will be posting a new boarding ad soon.

Our fall horse camp was so much fun with our mummy and ghost campers! We did so many fall activities and the kid’s favorite part, riding ponies and making the apple pies! Enjoy some of the photo’s we got throughout our busy day🧡🍂🐴🎃

2024 Dallastown Halloween Parade🎃 this was our first year being in the parade and we had a blast! Our float turned out great considering the short amount of time we had to get ready. Taz followed behind pulling his wagon which he did fantastic and was the star of the parade❤️ Thanks to everyone that helped out, looking forward to it again next year!

We had 5 students compete at the 4-H District horse show over the weekend. These kiddos worked so hard the past couple of weeks preparing for this show. I’m so proud of how they all did, there were some pretty big classes and some good competition!❤️ We want to congratulate Grace for making it to States in mini jumping with Gypsy and her Working Hunter Ponies over fences class with Georgia!🎉

We had 2 new boarding horses arrive this month and we are now currently full! Welcome to the Stone Creek Equine family; Tucker- Owners: Megan and Norah & “Oh my Lord” aka Ash- Owner: Maddie. Both are new horse owners and we are excited to see you grow with your 4-legged friend❤️

We had some of our adult members show today at the Columbia Riding Club Pleasure show! Noah showed Dusty and I showed Taz; our mini’s to help them get ready for the District 4-H show in 3 weeks. Christine showed Libertee and dusted off some cob webs, it’s been years since she showed, they both did great and even brought home some ribbons!🤍 The farm puppies even tagged along, scroll to see how Dozer felt about his first horse show experience….💤 let’s just say he didn’t remember much of it😂

Just like that the last tween camp of the summer came to an end! What a fun week, the kids voted this camp the #1 camp of summer!💕 Seeing their smiles, hearing them say how much fun they had and thanking me for all I did with them throughout the week makes me love what I do🤗

Next up is our last camp of the year! The little mini’s day camp for ages 4-8; Friday, August 2nd 10am-3pm. There are still spots available, reach out for more information!

Beyond proud of our show team today!!! These girls and Cooper gave it their all in some pretty big classes; compared to previous years at 4-H County Round-Up Show. We even have some members who qualified for districts in August!

Here are the results:

Ava and Ginger- 6th in English Showmanship (12-14), 4th in Beginner Trail, 6th in Beginner English Pleasure, and 6th in Beginner English Eq

Ariel and Libertee- 5th in English Showmanship (8-11), and 6th in beginner trail

Eva and Tator- 3rd in English Showmanship (8-11), 2nd and 5th in her Beginner W/T English classes *qualified for districts*

Norah and Tommy- it was their first show together and 10 in her class. I’m so proud of how she didn’t give up and tried her best. Unfortunately no ribbons.

Cooper and Taz- 1st in Western Showmanship (12-14), 4th in mini trail, 3rd in mini jumping, and 1st in mini driving. *qualified for districts*

Lilly and Dusty- 1st in English Showmanship (8-11), 5th in mini trail, 6th in mini jumping, and 2nd in mini driving *qualified for districts*

Grace and Gypsy- 1st in mini jump and 2nd in mini trail *qualified for districts*

Grace and Georgia- 2nd in low eq over fences (8-13), 3rd in low working hunter ponies, 3rd in hunter hack ponies, 4th in open trail ponies, and 3rd in hunter under saddle ponies *qualified for districts*

Aspen and Misty- 5th in low eq over fences (8-13), 2nd in low working hunter ponies, 1st in hunter hack ponies, 1st in open trail ponies, 2nd in hunter under saddle ponies *qualified for districts*

We had a Girl Scout Troop come visit us today! For some of the girls it was their first time ever on a horse and they did fantastic❤️🐴 Hard work pays off selling those cookies🍪😋

That’s a wrap for our 2024 June Tween camp!!! What a fun week, and a great group of kids🐴💕

Next up is the girl scout troop coming this Saturday to earn their horseback riding badge and our Teen Camp in 2 weeks which is currently FULL.

Another fun Watch Me Neigh Neigh 4-H meeting last night. Thanks Chris for coming and giving a demo on how to shoe a horse, the kids learned a lot and had fun! Maverick was so well behaved and enjoyed being the demo horse😂

4-H PA State Horse Show 2023! Both Grace and Aspen worked hard and made it all the way this year! Grace competed in the low working hunter ponies with 19 riders and Aspen competed in the low eq over fences ages 8-13 which had 16 riders along with hunter under saddle ponies over 13.2 hands which had 23 riders. Unfortunately Grace pulled a rail in her class and Aspen had a refusal in her class which didn’t put them in the placings. But I am so proud of the both of them and there is always next year!❤️ sorry I wasn’t able to get too many pictures, it was a busy and exhausting day.

The 2023 4-H District Horse Show was yesterday and I am so proud of each and everyone of my students!!! It was a lot of tough competition and the kids learned a lot. Special shout out to 2 of my students; Grace and Aspen who made it to States🎉
