These sweet kitties have been patiently waiting for their forever homes and each one is so deserving of a loving family. They may have their quirks, but that’s what makes them extra special! Whether they’re a little shy, independent, have medical needs, or want to be by your side, they’re ready to bring joy to your home. Click on each picture to learn more about each cat.

All of our adoptable cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLV/HW, and up-to-date medically. They are available for adoption to INDOOR homes only. You can meet them through walk-ins—no appointment necessary! Adoption fees vary depending on the age and special needs of the cat.

We now have an electronic recycling bin at our shelter! It is extremely important to dispose e-waste properly. For every pound of recycled material, we will receive a 5¢ donation. Let’s better the Earth and environment together!

In an effort to better serve the community, we are placing drop bins at convenient locations and working with local partners to make recycling responsibly easier. Anything containing hard drives or data storage will be destroyed on pick up.

🚨 We Need Your Help! 🚨

This weekend, we took in many cats in need, on top of our beyond full shelter. We are in URGENT NEED of litter pans for the cats in our care. If you're shopping or at a drive-thru, could you ask for any flat drink boxes like the ones pictured below? We’re accepting all sizes! These make perfect temporary litter pans.

Donations (including boxes) can be dropped off at the shelter any day from 8 AM - 5 PM.

What’s better on a cold, wet day than a cuddly kitten! We still have plenty to go around. Below are 9 of our currently available kittens. 🌨️🐱

Each adoptable cat is spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLV/HW, and UTD medically. Their adoption fees are $125 per kitten or 2 kittens for $200 (most live in the same household).

From November 11-22, AVID is collecting essential supplies to help care for the adorable cats and dogs at our local SPCA. Donate items such as cat food, used towels, treats, puppy toys, and more to make a difference in the lives of animals waiting for their forever homes.

AVID is dedicated to preparing students for college readiness and success. Participating in this fundraiser supports our furry friends and empowers our students to become active, engaged community members.

Neville (brown terrier mix, 7 lbs) and Malfoy (white terrier mix, 10 lbs) are 12-week-old bundles of love looking for their forever homes! These sweet puppies are full of personality, adore their toys, and love nothing more than cuddling!

As the weather gets colder, why not find your perfect snuggle buddy? These two are ready to keep you warm and fill your days with puppy love! Neville and Malfoy are available for walk-in adoptions—no appointment needed!

📅 Adoption Hours: Tuesday, Thursday - Sunday: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Meet the “O” Dogs of Medina County SPCA!

We have three amazing pups here, each looking for their forever home! All are spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested, and up-to-date on all medical needs. Their adoption fee is $155, and they’re ready to meet YOU with no appointment needed!

✨ Ozzy (5 years old) – This resilient tripod was found running loose alongside his brother. Due to an old ligament injury, our vets decided Ozzy would be more comfortable as a three-legged pup, and he hasn’t let it slow him down! Ozzy may be a bit shy at first, but once he trusts you, he’s as loyal as they come. He loves to run and play and gets along well with other dogs.

✨ Oliver (3 years old) – Also found with his brother, Oliver came in underweight but is quickly bouncing back! Full of energy, Oliver is playful, goofy, and affectionate. He adores his Kongs and is great with other dogs. This boy has a huge heart and is ready to share his joyful spirit with a loving family.

✨ Ophelia (1 year old) – Ophelia is a very special girl who needs a patient and experienced adopter. She has specific needs and would thrive in a calm home without children, dogs, or cats. You guys killed it with the towel and rag donations we wanted to ask one more favor! Paper towels are used daily in more ways than one around here. Laundry is ran constantly.
