A reminder from Care Animal Clinic: Skunks are on the move in the fall. It is a common time for dogs to be sprayed. The skunk's a**l sacs are capable of spraying their odiferous liquid with accuracy at danger. A handy treatment to remove the odor is multiple rinses with the Skunk Recipe:

1 Quart 3% Hydrogen Peroxide
1/4 Cup Baking Soda
1 tsp liquid Dial Soap

Sweet Saucy has been here a long time waiting for her new family. Please share her...

Here is her bio: Hey my name is Saucy and I'm a spicy gal. I just came to WCHS from another shelter in Texas. I am all puppy with a ton of energy. My new home will need to teach me some more manners, but I already know how to sit! There can be no cats in my new home. I find them way too fun to chase and torment. I need to go to a home with children 12 years and older as I need some help with training and can be too much for small children. I do like other dog friends but they need to play at my level. A dog/dog meet is required for me to go home with another canine friend. You see, I just LOVE to play but that means I can be pretty rough and tumble. I may be too much for some dogs. I am good with my food bowl and am as friendly as can be. If I sound like your type of gal, come to WCHS to meet me!

DOG 12 FOUND -
sharing in case anyone missed this announcement.

Update 2/10/20 11p - DOG #12 HAS BEEN FOUND! She is safe! THANK YOU everyone for all of your support!!

Updated 2/10/20 5 pm - Thank you to everyone for helping and walking through the snow and yesterday's snow storm. Just 10 minutes ago, I saw her. A location has been found and she is hanging out in an area. We do not want to reveal the area as we don't want to spook her away. A trap has been set and AS SOON AS I know she was trapped. We will let the entire world know.

We appreciate all your patience and texting and calling for daily updates. Right now... we need prayers for her to be hungry enough to walk in that trap.

PLEASE HELP US - ‼️LOST DOG‼️ We just brought a transport of dogs into WI. Dog 12 slipped her leash at 9:30AM. She ran away from 2137A Valley Court, Grafton. We saw her head West. She has a red paper collar on. She is not used to this weather or people. ❗️PLEASE DO NOT CHASE HER❗️She came from a hoarder case and is terrified. If you see her... Please call 262-617-8052 immediately. We will update this post with more info as we have it.

Update: Roscoe has been adopted! Congratulations to his Forever Family.

🎶 Roscoe, a beautiful Rhodesian Ridgeback + Boxer, settled into the backseat of my car on our way to West Bend. Who knew this 3-year-old would love listening to Tim McGraw! Look for Roscoe tomorrow in the "Hey West Bend" Facebook post.
