Thank you to everyone that has called and text to check on my family during the last week. I will be in and out this week and will be reaching out to those who's appointments I had to cancel. With this week still touch and go for me it may be next week before I get everyone reschedule. My apologies for this. My family has needed me and is first priority. Melissa does have a couple of appointments available for this week (small dog only) if someone needs in. Feel free to text me and I'll get you on the books.

Good morning! Due to a family emergency I will not be in the shop this week. Melissa will be there for her appointments but I will be reaching out to some of you to reschedule mine. Sharing this from a fellow service providing friend. This is so true and the reason I have set a new policy in place. I have now set up the software I use to schedule appointments to send out reminders 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time. This reminder will include a link and all you have to do is click the link in the text to confirm your appointment. If you fail to confirm there will be another reminder sent 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time, again with a link to confirm. These reminders are automated from Square (the program I use to schedule) and not me or the business line. This gives you 48hrs before your set time to text me at 270-991-6032 to let me know you will not be able to make your appointment. If you fail to give me a 24 hr notice or no show to your appointment, you will be sent an invoice for the services scheduled. Policy information is also included in the reminders.

THIS IS YOUR YEARLY REMINDER THAT YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER, ESTHETICIAN, BARBER, DOG GROOMER, HAIRSTYLIST, TATTOO ARTIST, ETC. are not paid by the hour. They are paid by the client… and yall…these last minute cancellations and no shows are KILLING your service providers, especially during our slow fall and winter seasons. We always try and understand emergencies but these are getting excessive. We value your time and reserve this spot for you, please value ours and give proper notice if you need to change an appointment.

Grooming can be scary especially for puppies. We recommend bringing your puppy in for grooming as soon as possible before they need that first haircut. This allows us to slowly introduce grooming to your puppy at a level that makes it less stressful. We start with just the basics like shaving their feet, potty area, and face just to get them used to the clippers. We spend time with them, building a bond and training on how to act/what to do during the grooming practice. Puppies aren't easy and we focus more on making it an enjoyable experience for them. After all, they require it the rest of their lives and on average we only see your baby about 17 times out of a year! Imagine trying to teach your dog a new trick but only working on that trick 17 times in a year! We will also give you tips and advise on how to work with your puppy at home and show you the proper tools needed to properly maintain their coat. I'm a day late, but better late than never right? Happy 11th Anniversary to The Paw Spa!!! Never could I imagine how this would turn out 11 years ago. I am so blessed for the support you all have shown me the last 11 yrs! From the bottom of my heart, thank you to each and every one of you. You have made my dream a reality and it would not be possible without you. Show me pictures of you babies past and present. There just might be something special for one of you all that post. 😘
