Meet Harvey, Border Collie mix who’s been patiently waiting for his forever family for 205+ days. This sweet boy has been waiting and hoping—and his tail never stops wagging. Harvey is a gentle, independent spirit who thrives with other dogs and has come such a long way in his foster home.

✔️ Kiddie pools and splashing in the sunshine.

Welcome to where we showcase Anderson Humane Alum living their very best lives in their new homes. 🐾 Fizzi was adopted by Allison at our South Elgin location!

"We adopted Fizzi in October 2023, and she was a fan favorite at Anderson Humane. She was super shy and timid, but our family was drawn to her. We are so delighted to have Miss Fizz in our lives, as she has brought so much fun and excitement. She loves playing with toys, being outside (so much she rarely wants to come back inside) and really loves hanging out with her boys. It had been awhile since we had adopted a younger dog and we weren't quite ready but she has proved to be nothing but a wonderful young lady and we are so happy she chose us as her family."

"Fizzi came to us a very scared and timid dog. And while loud noises still make her jump (we are working on that day by day), she is the sweetest girl. We love everything about her and wouldn't change a thing."
