Say hello to 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐱 𝐌𝐢𝐱, the sweetest little dilute calico with a heart of gold! 💕 She’s a bit shy at first and likes to take her time getting to know new people—she’s more of a “𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥 𝐈 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞” kind of gal. But once she warms up? She’ll start to show her gentle, loving side, and it’s the best.

Welcome to where we showcase Anderson Humane Alum living their very best lives in their new homes. 🐾 Jameson (FKA Cloud) was adopted by Kathi at Brilliance Subaru!

"My husband and I were at Brilliance Subaru in Elgin getting new tires for our car. Unbeknownst to us, Anderson brings dogs to Brilliance twice a week. We noticed this beautiful dog walking with a young woman and when she came by where we were sitting, we remarked to her how much we loved her dog’s face… to which she promptly replied “oh, he’s not MY dog! This is Cloud, he’s 3 years old and he’s from Anderson Humane”. And then that beautiful sweet dog put his head on my lap! I AM NOT KIDDING! Now, you must know that my husband and I had never even considered, let alone talked about getting a dog. Ever! We had just gotten rid of all our kids! LOL. But at that moment, we looked at each other and said “Is this really happening???!!!”. We adopted Cloud ( who we renamed Jameson) the very next day at an adoption event right near our home in St. Charles. It was literally love at first sight and we say every day how lucky we feel that Jameson found us."

"Jamey is the best companion! We love to travel and he does too! Last year we spent a month in a cabin on a lake in northern MN and we all had the best time hiking, exploring, relaxing and listening to the loons and the wolves. He’s super friendly with people and other dogs. Whoever had him early in his life trained him really well. The adoption process through Anderson was so easy and wonderful. They also provided us with good support and advice when we had questions after we got him home."
