“Hi everyone!
My name is McKenzie (Kenzie), and I am a professional dog groomer, experienced in all breeds, however having an extensive background working with high anxiety, aggressive, and senior dogs! I started in this field 5 years ago as a bather at a local grooming salon. Since then I’ve trained hands on, from a few highly experienced groomers, and work to perfect my craft every day. My professional work is driven by my passion for animal wellbeing and the reward that pampering your pets gives not only me, but you as our clients as well!
When I am not working, I am spending time with my family enjoying Michigans beauty. My significant other, Cameron, my newborn daughter, Amelia, our dog Gaara, and I love spending as much time outside as possible and snuggling up with a good tv show or movie on those chillier days when we can’t make it outside. “Well hello everyone, I'm Torie. I'm lucky enough to call myself a groomer here at Doggie paws! I've been grooming for a little over 3 years now and I'm always eager to learn more everyday. Out of all the dogs I've cared for any mini breed is my favorite, especially mini Aussies. Outside of work I’m either out with friends and family, working in the barn with my boyfriend, or playing with my cat Katara. Animals have always held a big spot in my heart and I love being able to help them feel and look better.”

*UPDATE 5/28: We had 2 staff members that were able to get Dozer to come to them and he is now home and back with his family who is SO excited to see him 💗💗

*Update 5/27 @ 4pm: Dozer has been spotted and owners have traps out!

*Update 5/26: still missing and no new sightings have been reported

*Update 5/24: we were informed that Dozer was spotted at 10am near 9 mile and old Alpine region (near Bow Tie)

As of 5/24 at 9am, Dozer is still missing. There has NOT been a sighting of him overnight. He was last known to be in the Peach Ridge/13 mile/12 mile area.
He is a nervous but sweet boy. If you see him, please contact us or Sparta Police Department at 616–887-7331 and DO NOT chase him as you may make him run further away.

Dozer can resemble a small deer, if you see a "deer" in a field or woods, we ask that you look closely to see if the "deer" has a long tail as it may be Dozer!

The only trimming on Rosie was her feet, mom wanted to keep her natural! She was given a classic bath/deshedding service, which includes a nail trim and cleaning out the ears as well as light trimming of furnishings.

As Thanksgiving approaches, families across the country are gearing up for a day of gratitude, feasting, and quality time with loved ones—including our pets! While indulging in a scrumptious Thanksgiving dinner with guests, it's essential to keep our pets in mind. With a few thoughtful precautions and some pet-friendly treats, you can ensure a joyous and safe celebration for everyone.

A couple major risk on this holiday are:

🦃 Turkey: A small amount of boneless turkey meat is ok, especially if it is free of seasonings, but skin is definitely a no-no. The skin is high in fat, which can cause pancreatitis, and seasoning, which can give your animal indigestion.
🦴Bones: Dogs love bones, but poultry bones are brittle and can easily break, lodging in your pet’s throat. This can lead to choking and other conditions which can cause severe health issues and even death (and watch the trash!)

The best way to keep your pet safe is to keep them well away from the dining table, kitchen and garbage bins! Make sure to instruct your guests and children not to feed your pets food from the table – even better, let them know why! By taking a few simple precautions and preparing pet-friendly treats, you can ensure that your pets have a safe and happy Thanksgiving alongside the rest of the family. Here's to a holiday season filled with love, laughter, and delightful moments shared with both two-legged and four-legged loved ones!
