What are you doing on Sunday October 15th? We're doing double duty and will be at Paws in the Park in Old Town Alexandria and The McLean Pet Fest. Both events are pet-friendly and fun for the whole family. There will be food, music, demonstrations, adoptable pets, games, and fun activities. Both events are from 1 to 4. We're looking forward to these events and we hope to see you!

Come see us at the Braddock Bark event on Sunday and learn how our Frequency Specific laser can benefit your pet. We are excited to be participating in the 2nd annual Braddock Bark event at Lake Accotink Park. Come see us on Sunday May 21st between 1 and 4. VHC massage therapist and Reiki practitioner, Mary Pat Corrigan, and her tri-paw Flat-Coated Retriever, Tara, will be participating in non-profit World T.E.A.M. Sports' 2022 Face of America Gettysburg cycling challenge benefiting Wounded Warriors. This 112-mile, 2-day event will be April 23 & 24; cyclists begin in Crystal City VA, head to Frederick MD and then on Sunday finish at the hallowed grounds of Gettysburg. Wounded Warriors and other veteran adaptive athletes participate in the ride -- some in hand cycles and others with a prosthetic limb clipped to the pedal of their road bike.

Tara is an honorary adaptive athlete member of a cycling team, Pedallers for the Wounded, which participates in this event every year. Mary Pat will be riding in the event again and Tara is in charge of fundraising again. The only dog fundraising, Tara was the #3 fundraiser in 2019 and #2 in 2021. Tara is currently in the #2 position again for now with a chance to move into the #1 spot this year!

Our patient Tui just celebrated her 15th birthday with a 3.5 - 4 mile hike along the C & O Canal with her human and canine family! Her mom reports that the cold laser therapy she gets here has really helped her feel her best. Happy happy Birthday Tui!!! 💕🙂
