Formerly known as Timber Ridge, Cadence Farm is a beautiful 17+ acre property located conveniently on Shaw Road in Rockford, IL.

Boarding We pride ourselves on offering quality, individualized care for your horse in a laid-back, family friendly environment. Boarding includes matted stalls with Guardian bedding, Purina Impact Pelleted grain, quality grass hay, daily turnout, and holding for farrier/vet appointments. Boarders have full access to the farm’s amenities including indoor arena, outdoor arena, wash rack, and tack room. Custom boarding packages are available to fit your horse’s unique needs. We do not offer pasture board and we do not accept stallions. Equine Assisted Psychotherapy We are pleased to offer equine assisted psychotherapy at Cadence Farm. Meredith Chance is an LCSW certified in EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association). As prey animals, horses have the unique ability to sense and reflect emotions. In equine assisted psychotherapy, horses are used to work through the difficult issues we face in life. Some insurances are accepted. Evening and weekend appointments are available. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 815-494-3692.
