VIPs for July!!!!!
We had sooooo many cute pups for the month of July!!!
‼️LOST PUPPY‼️
Mac is a 6 month old male intact Pitbull. He got spooked in the yard on Wednesday 7/31 around 10:30AM in the Pittsgrove area around Greenbranch park. Neighbors haven’t seen him nor have local shelters - assuming might have been scooped up and being held somewhere. Please keep a look out and help bring this little guy home!!
Any sightings please call either us at 856-467-0050 or call the owner Lisa at 856-305-4203.
Last seen wearing a navy blue collar with a broken leash attached to it.
🚨Double Birthday Alert🚨Happy Birthday to one of our doctors, Dr. Rodriguez & our CSR lead, Leanna!! We hope this year brings you all the success you both deserve 🎂🥳
Happy National AAHA Accredited Hospital Day! This day is to celebrate veterinary hospitals providing excellent care accredited by AAHA, but more specifically the veterinary staff taking the time to uphold the standards of care. We have been accredited by AAHA since 1992 and are proud to be part of the 15% that have undergone the accreditation process.

It’s that time of the month!! Here are our VIPs for the month of June 🩷🩷🩷 Give these kids some love 😍🐶
T-7 days until 4th of July!!!! 🎆🎇
✨With all the planing/ celebratory activities everyone is doing for next week, this is a reminder to not forget to order your pets anxiety medications!!
✨If your fur baby barks, cries, runs away, or does any other stress response when fireworks go off, this is your sign to schedule an appointment with our doctors to get some medication for you pets. It’s not fair when us humans are celebrating Independance Day and your pet is locked in a crate or hiding under the bed hopeless hearing loud bags going on, thinking the world is ending. Your pets would gladly appreciate you giving them some medications to take the edge off to last through the night.
✨Also, if your pet routinely gets these medications, Please don’t wait until last minute and hope to get it the day before. We are fortunate enough our lovely nurses fill and approve all these medications in between taking your pets appointments.
✨One other thing: WE ARE CLOSED JULY 4TH!! Please plan accordingly to pick up your meds the day prior.
Hot weather ☀️🔥= pets stay inside🏠
With this hot weather upon us, our pets cannot tolerate it as well as we can. Any temperature above 85F can be dangerous to them and any temperature above 89F puts your pets at higher risk of heat strokes. If you walk you dogs make sure you're testing the temperature of asphalt and pavements before allowing your pets to walk on it. Asphalt temperatures can rise to 140F when the sun is blazing on it causing your pets to burn their paw pads.
For our short snout pets (Bulldogs, French bulldogs, Boston terriers, Pugs, Boxers, etc.) the heat can affect their breathing; this can cause them to have a heat stroke. If your pet is showing signs of excessive panting, vomiting, diarrhea, red gums, etc. seek emergent care immediately.

Happy Pet Appreciation Week 🐶🐱🐹🐰🐾
🌟Pet appreciation week (PAW) was created for pet owners to show appreciation towards their furry animals. Sometimes life gets hectic and we don't always have the time to show the gratuity for our pets that we want to. This week let's all take the time to give extra love to our fur babies, whether it be buying new toys, new beds, new accessories (if your pet allows them), or taking the time to make sure they're up to date on their annual exams. This week is for the ones that appreciate us as owners the most.
🌟Comment a picture below of your pets so we can all show appreciation towards them!

❗️May is all about Arthritis Awareness month❗️
🌸Did you know one in five dogs will experience joint issues in their life, that's 20%! As for cats, four-nine in ten cats will experience degenerative joint disease (DJD), that's 40%-92%!
🌸It all starts in the puppy stage! Making sure your pup is on a proper puppy diet to ensure proper bone health. For example, too much calories, protein and supplements can cause puppies to grow at rapid rates resulting in improper skeletal growth and body weight. This can prone puppies to DJD, so always make sure you're giving your puppy food advised specifically for puppies and follow proper feeding instructions on the back of the bag.
🌸Old age isn't a disease and pets don't slow down due to getting older - it's usually osteoarthritis. Understanding the causes of joint disease and the benefits of early identification with management can give owners the chance to spend more years with their pets living comfortably by their side.
🌸Some factors leading to Osteoarthritis can be environmental, acute injuries, or it can even be breed related.
🌸Without recognizing and treating in the early stages, DJD can lead to mobility issues and can progress more severely sometimes resulting in euthanasia.
🌸Thankfully, the veterinary world is constantly looking for more ways to treat OA proactively with several different pain management options, as well as supplements, to better prolonging your loved ones life!
🌸If you think your pet is experiencing "slowing down" pain in certain areas, trouble getting up/down please call to schedule an appointment so we can properly start a treatment plan for your loved one!
