Los Robles Animal Hospital has been serving the Tallahassee area since November 1986 when Dr. Melanie Donofro opened the practice with herself and one technician. Over the years LRAH has grown into a thriving general practice, as well as providing acupuncture, rehabilitation and spinal manipulation.

As Dr. Donofro begins to move toward a much-earned retirement, we are excited to introduce Dr. Felicia Vides and the team of Healing Hands Veterinary Care. Dr. Vides has extensive experience in general practice, surgery, urgent care, at home veterinary services and is completing her acupuncture certification.

As we celebrate the legacy of Los Robles and incorporate the future of Healing Hands, we are working together to offer more for your pets. Dr. Donofro is still seeing patients but is hoping to dial her clinic time back. Dr. Vides also offers low-stress, in-home appointments for your pets who may not enjoy the trip to the hospital.

When reaching out, our staff can help determine whether an in-home appointment or in-clinic appointment would best suit your needs. Several factors can be taken into consideration, including you and your pet's current health, financial expectations, personal schedule & preference.

Please call us today or tomorrow if you need to pickup refills before the weekend.

The hospital will be closed Thursday 8/8 thru Sunday 8/11 and will reopen Monday 8/12 at 7:30am.

In light of the approaching storm Debby, we will be closed on Monday, August 5. Your safety, as well as the safety of our staff, is our top priority. We encourage everyone to take the necessary precautions during this time.

Starting on August 1, 2024, dogs entering or returning to the United States must meet new, specific requirements depending on where they have been in the 6 months before entering the U.S. and where they received their rabies vaccines (if required).

With only 1 open kennel, we just received word we will be receiving 50 dogs TODAY.

This is an all-hands-on-deck, critical situation and we are in dire need of our community to adopt, foster, or share this post.

🐶🐶🐶Kennels are OPEN today, tomorrow from 10-5, and 1-5 on Sunday and dog adoption fees are just $30 to save a life.

Our sweet technician, receptionist, official greeter, office manager, lap warmer, lunch stealer and CEO of Los Robles Animal Hospital left us on Thursday March 7. He was around 16 years old and did his job well for many years. He was rescued and once here found his many roles with ease. We will miss Hamilton, Hammy , Hambone so very much. He was a wonderful soul and good friend. Rest in Peace sweet boy.

Lilly ( the poodle) and her best friend Ashi came in Thursday. Ashi needed her annual exam and Lilly needed acupuncture. Ashi decided Lilly needed her support so they sat together the entire time.
