The "zoomies" in pets are episodes of spontaneous, high-energy bursts characterized by intense running, jumping, and playful behavior. This behavior is most commonly observed in young animals, particularly dogs and cats, but can also occur in older pets.

The causes of the zoomies can vary and may include:
Excess Energy, Playful Behavior, Release of Stress, Social Interaction, Environmental Stimuli, etc.

Although generally harmless, providing regular opportunities for exercise and mental stimulation can help reduce the frequency of zoomies and contribute to a well-balanced and content pet.

We met talon at Santa Rosa County Animal Services luau event today and I couldn’t get over his super hero mask he has on, so we decided to give him a cape and ask if there is anyone out there that would like to be his hero… he’ll for sure be the best sidekick you’ll ever have. Talon was the sweetest guy with people and dogs when we met him and I can’t imagine why he’s not in a forever home. Call them today and give talon a chance.
