Wednesday, 5/29, Intermediate Class -- OFF-SITE OUTING -- 10 a.m.
Meet in Dunedin at the "Dogedin Mural" for a group photo before tackling some fun training in Pioneer & Edgewater Parks and the quaint streets of Dunedin. For anyone who wants to stick around after class, we will be grabbing a bite to eat on the "dog-friendly" covered patio at the Dunedin Smokehouse.

The Dogedin Mural is on the corner of Douglas & Main. Public parking is available in the lot on Douglas one block south of the mural.

We train large and small dogs. Chloe the chihuahua was happy to see her mom after the first week and did amazing. Mom was so proud! Tilly is just a photobomber who wanted to say hi 👋.

I’m Moose. I’m just a baby and my family wanted me to get into training asap. Did you know getting puppies trained as 12 weeks helps teach good habits. All puppies have desires to follow a human for leadership. Anxiety and stress happen to dogs that don’t have structure and routine. Call us to help get your new puppy acclimated to your home 🏠.

Hi there. My name is Remy! I am a really good boy. I have lived at sit n stay the past 3 years. No visits. Nobody has asked about me because of my breed. I was previously dog aggressive and would do best as being a single dog or with a female dog with proper introduction but no small dogs. I am extremely good clean and quiet in my crate. I do not react to dogs on leash and am fairly easy to walk once you learn how to train me. Did I mention I come with follow up lessons and access to group classes? I would love any donated food treats or blankets. If you cannot open your doors for me please share my photo. Share my sweet face so I can have a warm dog bed by your side while you watch tv. I promise you I will sit and wait like a good boy when you get home just for some pets. I will always greet you with a tail wag. Give me a chance because I’m a favorite at sit n stay and they would love nothing more then to see me visiting and then leaving with my new family. Did I mention belly rubs are my thing? I am about 70 pounds and I am very low activity. I am a pit mix and I would love to meet you.

UPDATE: Cedric has taken a turn for the worse and can no longer come to the store. We were so hopeful he would get to say goodbye to all of his friends but I believe God wants all your memories of him to be of happy times. Much love to all. I will be out of the store this next week as we prepare for the Rainbow Bridge.

It’s with great sadness we want to share with all those who have loved Cedric for so many years, that he will be crossing over the rainbow bridge soon. He has brought so much joy to so many families. He came to us as Sophia’s (my daughter) service dog and in his elder years, became a celebrity at The Homeschool Hive. More people come in and ask for him than anyone else in the store! It’s because we know how special he is to so many of you, that we want you to know his final days at the store will be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 10-2. Cedric is welcoming belly rubs.🐾

Hi guys ! Bubba here again. I have not had any inquiries about me . I’m just hoping I can get a family of my own. My sit n stay family says I’m a great boy. I’m a very lazy dog who would do best in a home without children as I have had issues in the past with boundaries. Please share or come see me ! I love chew toys and treats. I love to snuggle and get under my blanket. Don’t let me live out my days here. They love me so much and want me to go a home where I can come back and visit all my friends.

Jackson learning to work with kids of all ages. This is Brielle Lexie’s niece. We have all of our dogs learn to have respect for kids like leaders of the pack. Jackson is trained to watch feet movement and respond to body language.

Bruno Bonjovi doing amazing with task training ! When Lexie goes down unexpectedly Bruno is supposed to go under that arm and support as her weigh as a mobility assistance dog . It is very important he doesn’t move around in case Lexie is injured. She was safely able to get back on her feet thanks to Bruno . Way to go big guy ! 🦮

Yesterday's service group class at Citrus Park Mall. An important foundation of training a service dog is practicing around distractions.
