Dixie Magnolia Labradoodles,

Dixie Magnolia Labradoodles, All of our puppies come from genetically health tested parents that are members of our family. Our puppies are hand raised in a climate controlled nursery.
(18)

Dixie Magnolia Doodles strives to produce a line of Labradoodles with excellent temperaments, health benefits and low to non shedding coats. Our dogs are tested for genetic defects and we have hand picked two generations of excellent blood lines for breeding and they are members of our family. Our puppies are raised in a temperature controlled kennel, and taught to use a doggie door at 6 weeks of

age to start going to the bathroom outside. Our puppies are socialized and handled on a daily basis. We provide new owners with a one year health guarantee and have a spay/neuter clause in our contract. While the Dam is pregnant and nursing puppies she is fed a high calorie, healthy diet to ensure that the puppies receive the utmost nutrition. Once they are weaned, they are fed a grain-free diet. Their dew claws are removed and receive recommended worming and vaccinations. They are vet checked before they leave to go to their new homes. We do not try to produce the "mini" doodles by artificially inseminating to a miniature or toy poodle like many Labradoodle breeders are practicing, due to the confirmation issues this practice produces. If it can't happen naturally, it does not need to happen. This is just a quick way to downsize a breed that is supposed to be a mid size or large breed in the first place. I also do not ship puppies for their optimum health and well being. I am willing to meet out of town clients for delivery, but I also welcome all prospective new puppy owners to come and see our facility.

Missouri moves to shut down Horrible Hundred puppy mill for keeping dogs in filthy conditions · A Humane World

Just days after the release of our annual Horrible Hundred report, Missouri’s attorney general has sued to shut down one of the puppy mills named in it. The owners of Little Bit Ranch in Unionville, Missouri, failed to provide adequate veterinary care for their dogs . . .

Quarantine stormy day project. Making braided dog tugs from old t-shirts fur my dogs and the shelters. Don’t throw those old t-shirts away! Repurpose them and help pups in need. For dogs that have separation anxiety, do not wash the t-shirts so they will have your scent on them. You can also use old fleece blankets or just about any material. You simply cut them across the body of the shirt, in strips about 2” wide, up to the armpits. I start with three strips and hang them on the handlebar of my knee scooter. ( I broke my foot!)
Then I simply braid them all the way down and tie in a knot in the top and the bottom. 😊🐾🐶

I read this post about a doodle owner who lost her precious dog to a Bravecto flea and tick treatment. Please read this and DO NOT use Bravecto on your dogs!!!!: My vet recommends AAdvantage Plus. He said he has always had good results with it and he uses it on his own dogs.
PLEASE NOTE: This was NOT one of our dogs!!!

Hi everyone. It’s taking a lot for me to go on here and post this but I need to do it for my babyJeter. Jeter was just 2 years old, he would have turned 3 on September 21st. He was our baby, loved and spoiled more than anything. He was an early Christmas present for my 8 and 9 year old girls. We decided to get him after we lost our 18 year old Jack Russel and my father was diagnosed with Cancer to help us cope. He sure did make our days and nights brighter and cozier. We lost my dad, last May and Jeter was there for us to give us laughs, puppy licks and so much more. He was a completely healthy, playful, poochie. He absolutely hated the groomer, so much so that my vet suggested that he should be sedated and groomed. But before we sedated him, she would need to do a complete check up on him including blood to make sure he was healthy. Everything came back perfect... so I know he was healthy!! Well while under quarantine the nice weather snuck up on us and Jeter was really enjoying the back yard with my kids, I got nervous about ticks and I called my vet right away ( this was Tuesday) to tell her that I didn’t have his saresto collar that I normally use and was nervous about ticks. She told me she would give me Bravecto and he would be covered for 3 months. So I immediately sent my husband to pick it up, trusting that I was doing the right thing for my boy. We gave him his chewable around 4pm on Tuesday. He seemed fine after, he ate his dinner as usual, went on his walks, played with his ball... all was fine. At 5 am he jumped on the couch where I had fallen asleep in an attempt to wake me. He jumped off and let out a cry... then fell to his side. I panicked thought he was having a seizure,,, my husband quickly put his shoes on to get ready to take him to the emergency vet, Jeter didn’t make it there. He stopped breathing. The emergency vet tried doing CPR but they couldn’t save him. This was the most traumatizing event for all of us. My poor daughters woke and and ran down because they heard us screaming in panic trying to save our baby. My. Husband came back completely broken, we are devastated beyond words. We are trying to be strong for our kids but the truth is we can barely stand the hurt and pain that we feel. I have contacted my vet, she didn’t have much to say except I’m sorry... I asked if she knew that there was a class action law suit against Bravecto and that 1000’s of people claim that Bravecto has harmed their pets. I wanted to know why on earth she would still give this medication if she knew this. She said she had heard but there was no confirmed research. I called Merck the makers of Bravecto, the young lady told me this she was aware of a class action suit but couldn’t discuss litigation with me. Of course she couldn’t. Either way there is nothing my vet or Merck can do to take away our pain or bring Jeter back. The only thing I want out of all this is to spread the word so that no one ever has to go through what we did.
Please don’t take any chAnces... do not give your pets BRAVECTO! I am convinced that it killed my baby, 13 hours after just one dose.
I know that people are going through so much worse right now, but for us losing Jeter was losing one of my children. Please pray for us, for our kids who have been crying themselves to sleep. Please don’t use Bravecto!!!
