Food for thought tonight, why do people feel the need to bring others down???.
We at the Rustic C know who we are and what we stand for. We are a RESCUE that has ALWAYS and will ALWAYS do right by the horses we are blessed to help, regardless of where or whom they come from. We will remain true to our mission, we will remain true to ourselves, we will remain true to the horses we are passionate to protect. We will always be honest and transparent and we thank everyone who has continued to believe in us and what we do!. We are blessed to have the followers we have that see us for what we are!. Thank you all, God bless and we will see you on lives this weekend.

Rustic C Ranch Rescue has a couple of nice young projects available for adoption!
1. Sargent- yearling chestnut c**t. Started on halter and leading as well as basic manners. He is a flashy, well built c**t. This one's going to be a stunner. He's quick on his feet, and he's probably going to be around 15.2hh.
2. Captain- yearling bay c**t . This lithe guy has the sweetest face and a gentle curious nature. He will be halter and lead broke and learning basic manners. He does have a large rear hock but it does not affect him. He is sound and healthy. Sound nature around 15hh.
3. River. Around a year and a half old bay filly. This one's a catch. She's sweet, willing, and athletic. She halter broke, easy to catch, leads, stands, and is working on her basic ground work. All are under ###x for adoption fees, located in Troup tx.

We are running a fundraiser to raise the money to geld Titan and for feed and supplies for him and Maizy and get baby.. these guys are going to require months of just refeeding to get conditioned and healthy again!! We have a new resident Rustic C Ranch Rescue!! Our rescue momma Maizy delivered a cute little c**t late this evening! Please keep mom and baby in your thoughts and prayers as momma is a starvation/malnourishment case and baby is very very small! He’s a fighter though and so far both are doing well!

We just have to share some more of Gator and his success story! Here he is with his new heart human Journey starting to learn play day patterns!! I truly love what I do!! This guy was a grumpy ear pinning nippy kill pen throw away when he came to Rustic C and now look at him!! Some personal time, good ulcer meds and a patient trainer and he’s now a ten year olds heart horse!!!

One of the hardest parts of rescue is saying goodbye! In the next week we will be saying goodbye to both of our old boys. Rio the prison horse has found his forever home and will be headed there tomorrow! Tiffany Alleni know you and Rio will get along great and we can’t wait to see what adventures you find!

On a sadder note next Sunday our old boy Wilbur will be crossed over the rainbow bridge..This is one of the hardest decisions to make in rescue but at the end of the day doing what’s best for them has to come first. It’s better to let them go with dignity and love than in pain. He will be pampered And loved till the very end! 💚

Just wanted to thank everyone for the support this past Saturday at our Tractor Supply event! Rio was a hit and loved all his pets! We raised enough funds and feed to last through the month but more importantly we got to tell our story and show y’all what we do! Thank you so much for the support!

We had a great day representing the rescue horses at our local Tractor Supply yesterday! Rio was a celebrity despite the chilly weather and we raised a good amount of funds and came home with a truckload of feed for the horses.! Thank you to everyone who donated and to tractor supply for giving us the space and time promote what we do!
