Hi TLC friends! Just a reminder to make sure your pets are inside during this terrible winter weather. Also make sure they have lots of fresh water and warm bedding :). Hope you and your furry friends are safe!

The tempature outside is cold, so please be sure your 4 legged friend has blankets, or hay, or some kind of pet shavings that it can stay warml, please besure to make sure you have a dog house out of the wind. Just think would you like to be out there with no shelter or a nice blanket, check the water also, it does freeze and then they have no water. Your four legged friend thanks you :)

Remember please do not give pets as Christmas gifts, if you do then have the person that you are giving the pet to go with you to help pick it out, they will know what size, what breed, and what s*x they want. Alot of Christmas gifts pets end up in shelters 1-2 yrs. later cause the new owner just doesn't have time for them or have the money to keep up with.

When putting up your Christmas tree if you have cats watch them carefully with the tree, they are so curious that they like to eat things off the tree, tinsel especially then you don"t know why they are vomiting and you take them into the vet and they have tinsel in their tummy's or even stuff you put on the tree. Just be careful and watch them around the tree. Also Poinsettias are hazordous to pets

Had a wonderful Thanksgiving taking care of all of four-legged friends so they would not have to board, they got to stay in their nice homes and get lots of TLC, it sure was fun playing with our Thanksgiving doggies :) Call us if you need someone over Christmas or give us a try before then, we are happy to help!

Will be there for all your holiday needs. Your pet will be in his/her own house and will not have all the barking and noise that a boarding facility has. Your pet will not be nervous and they will be given lots of TLC while you are away. We can walk them and come by to see them as many times as you like, in a boarding facility they only walk them twice a day. Check out our website.

Sat. we will be out at the SPCA dog walk at Lafortune Gardens, their's gonna be alot of things to do, a pet costume contest, do you look like your pet contest, you can get you photo taken with your pet and also Karen Keith will be out their with her dogs, their will be music and food so come by and say hi and schedule your appt. for us to dog/cat sit over the holidays.

Good Grooming, Brush and comb your pet's coat regularly to keep it healthy and free of matted hair. Ask a groomer to show you how to properly brush your dog/cat coat. Regular grroming will also help you detect skin problems and parasites such as fleas and ticks or hotspots.

Just a reminder in this HOT HOT weather when walking your 4 legged friend be sure not to walk them on the pavment since it is so HOT it will burn there pads so be sure to touch it first and make sure it is cool.
