Help protect your dog from distemper and parvo with this free clinic.

This Saturday, March 25th from 8am to 11am, All Kind will offer FREE DAPPV vaccines for dogs in a drive-thru clinic at the Abilene Animal Shelter.

Vaccines will be offered on a first come, first serve basis. No registration needed prior to the event.

Vaccines are made available through the national vaccination initiative which is to provide 1 million pet vaccines to its existing animal welfare partners, including All Kind Animal Initiative, for family pets in need.

The severely matted pet. Professional groomers see these cases more often than we would like. They can be heartbreaking because we understand the pain and disease that often accompany these cases. Here are a few things to understand about matted coats:

1. Severely matted coats cannot simply be 'brushed out'. Yes, a few matts that are not matted to skin can be brushed out, but sever matting means shaving. There is not an option to 'leave the coat fluffy' because clipper blades must pass under matts not through them. This often means a very short shave.
2. When the coat is severely matted, often referred to as pelted, the coat cannot properly regulate body temperature. Both canines and felines use thermoregulation to keep the body cool or warm depending on the weather. This means the body struggles much harder to maintain normal temperature.
3. Matted coats are almost always accompanied by some type of skin disease. Matting holds excess moisture and bacteria and/or fungus near the skin. As the natural microbiome is decreased, the skin becomes susceptible to infection from these diseases.
4. Matted coats are painful and that's a fact. The extra weight pulls on the skin causing discomfort. When matting is present around legs, ears, or tail, proper movement can become impeded and painful. This is why we term this 'neglectful abuse'. This type of matting does not occur overnight.

If your pet's coat has gotten out of control, contact your professional groomer NOW. The longer you wait, the worse it will be and the more the pet suffers.

Tip to add: it needs to be applied as soon as possible! The longer it sits the longer it sets in.

This WORKS!!

Yes skunks spray but as a last defense! They are not trigger happy and looking to spray you. If so they wouldn’t have a means to protect themselves so they spray as a “last resort.” Dogs will get sprayed because they continue to approach the skunk even though the skunk has given your pet every warning!

🦨 Hiss
🦨 If all of the above fail- the animal will spray you.

Yes, it stinks but this is how a skunk protects itself from predators. This is what is natural for skunks as the dog running after the skunk is natural for the dog. Here is how to remove the smell off your dog. This also works for yourself and your clothes. Yep! No need to throw your clothes away. See a skunk in your yard? Bring your pets inside until the skunk has moved on. ♥️

Yes, we are mobile and have our own electricity and water!!🙌🏼
With all things considered.. we are weighing the option of raising our prices due to increased fuel pricing and inflation. We will be more strict on our location servicing as well.
Our entire rig requires a lot of fuel - we drive a diesel, we are constantly running 2 generators, and weigh just under 15,000 pounds total.
We will prolong as much as possible on the price increase as we hate to do so as much as anyone else; but we have to do what is financially necessary for our business and to be able to continue providing services for the big country!
