I picked up my neighbor this morning. I take him to the Riverside National Cemetery next month for his Military Honors 👊🏻 (He’s probably pi**ed at me right now because he picked the cheapest plastic box to go in and I upgraded to brass since he’s not here to tell me no. It is a waste of money according to him 😂)

For the ones that don’t know…I’m still pet sitting but my pet sitting videos have been put on the back burner for the last 2 months. I’ve been helping my neighbor basically die at home because that’s what he wants. I’m still watching dogs but any free time I have at home I run over there to check on him, take his blood pressure, prepare food, help his nurse, set up cremation/end of life type stuff ect. Or I’m running him to chemo/doctors appointments so my drop off and pick up time availability depends on if I have to take him somewhere. Normally I would be taking pictures/videos of the dogs I’m watching instead. My neighbor was over there popping Tylenol thinking the stomach pain would go away all this year and didn’t tell anyone. We found out he has stage 4 bladder cancer that has spread elsewhere. After this month I should have more time to focus on taking videos of dogs again. Please bear with me during this time.

A dog house in hot weather is not shade, it’s a OVEN!! Take your dog inside or at least get them real shade, plenty of water and a baby pool if possible.

Palms n Paws does microchips for only $26.73. So many lost dogs in the shelters have no collar/tags & no microchips so they sit there hoping their owners find them.

Beware of foxtails while out and about with your dogs! Foxtails have barbed razor-sharp needles that are dangerous to your dog. If you are exposed, thoroughly inspect the hot spots (ears, nose, eyes, underbelly, between toe pads).

- Foxtails can go up the nose and migrate to the brain.
- Embedded foxtails can cause pain and even death in extreme cases
- Pets with long fur and long ears are especially prone to getting foxtails and they can embed in ear canals quickly.
- Foxtails move in one direction. They dig in, and they do not come out on their own.
- Foxtails love paws and can easily embed between toes.
- Foxtails can dig into any part of the body, and they don't dissolve.
- Foxtails pieces can easily be inhaled & puncture a lung!

Phone dump from the last 2 weeks. Quincy, Lira, Whiskey, Asia, Sarabi, Hades, O’doul, O’Malley, Korra, Luna, Gronk, Josie, Taco, Waldo, Ronan, Minnie & W***y. I’ve had a lot going on with baby birds, selling birds, freak accident with one of my birds so I’ve been making changes so it never happens again and spring cleaning aka throwing things in the garbage that’s taking up space. I always have dogs here even when I’m not posting as much. If you know dates that you’ll need me to pet sit let me know as soon as you know. I book up fast especially since schools out & for the up coming holidays.
