Our keepsake paw prints are crafted by our friend and local artisan, Deb Thenen. We provide the raw clay print to her. She trims, adds a name, drys, fires, glazes, fires them again, and adds the ribbon as a final touch. These are only available at Lighthouse Pet Cremation.

Why would I cremate my pet when I can just dig a grave in my yard?

Many of our clients cremate their pet for theses reasons:

I rent and may have move in the future.

I own my own home, but may move and want to take the pet’s remains with me.

I want to have my pet’s urn buried with me or placed in an urn with my ashes later.

It is winter and I don’t want to be out digging a hole.

I am not physically able to move the pet or dig a hole because of my age or health.

I don’t have time to dig a hole. I just need someone to take cate of the pet for me.

I like the idea of having their urn on a shelf in my home where I can remember them often.

There are many other reasons, but these are some of the common answers we hear.
