And Tuesday had 10 dogs! I was all alone so figured I'd be here forever however I was home around 615! I was pretty proud of myself! It helped that a couple of these guys were just bath and tidy up dogs and not full haircuts. See you tomorrow!

Monday brought in 6 doggos. 1 is just too old and grumpy for pictures anymore. His dad has to hold him for me to trim his face because he just really does not like me much anymore. All my other clients were great today! Big boy Blue is the funniest guy, Bulldogs have such strong personalities! His picture doesn't show his size very well but he is massive!

Monday only brought in 5 dogs but I didn't start until 11am as Gus had a vet appt and 3 of the 5 were doodles so still a very long day 🤦‍♀️.

And then we have Thursday! Red is looking a bit different this time as we tried a shorter "puppy" ear this time. Personally I think he looks much younger! Cruise has lost another 2 pounds! We're very proud of him! Jonah is letting you know how he feels about grooming day with a tongue out 🤣 You can't please them all! Haha

Hey let's go backwards this week! These are my Friday doggos. Ava was being a stinker today and wouldn't let me get her face trimmed up nicely and she also had a wood tick under her chin that I couldn't even get near 🤦‍♀️. Somedays we just have to let them win and send them home in not ideal condition. Theo on the other hand was such a good boy today! He was giving kisses and let me trim his nails without a fuss! I'll take that as a win. Boy am I happy it's Friday.

And finally my short Friday arrived! We're still waiting for Maverick to realize he's got a big brain in that head of his. Sometimes I look at him and think what is going on inside that head of yours!?! However he is such a nice dog and a very good boy he just forgets what he should be doing, often lol. Goose is also a good boy he just hates getting in the bathtub but will jump right in for his mom so we always get him in the tub before she leaves 🤦‍♀️. He's steller for everything else! See you Monday hopefully!

Thursday only brought 7 dogs however 2 were doodles and one was a poodle so those always take me extra time. Poor Peaches is having some eye issues. I feel so bad when those things happen and there isn't much I can do. 😭

And then Wednesday. The absolute worst day of the week. I got way behind and was at work until 7pm. I also received awful news that my landlord had passed away, so currently everything is up in the air and I honestly am not sure what's going to happen or if I will have to move, only time will tell. Thankfully all good dogs on this day. 💛

And then came Tuesday another wild day. Took Trixie and Babe out to potty and Babe's leash broke. Thank God she came right back to me, I almost had a heart attack. All good kids.

Hello! Chelsey here with a little life update. Lately I've been working 10-11 hour days 4-5 days a week, I do have help but it isn't everyday as she has another job and a life as well. I'm exhausted and just need to take a step back and reevaluate how I'm going to manage my days going forward. My first step is that I am not adding any more dogs into my rotation, if you are not currently in my book you unfortunately won't be anytime soon even if you were a client before. I know I am going to have some very upset customers but this is what I need to do to keep my sanity. At this time if you no show for an appointment I will need payment for the missed appointment and prepayment for the next appointment to get you back on my schedule. I am currently booked out for 2 months so if you do need to reschedule please let me know as soon as possible so that I can hopefully swap you with another client instead of having you wait 2 months to get back in. I have not made these decisions lightly and it does make me sad to turn away clients that I've been grooming for years however this is a choice I need to make for myself. I am open to any questions so feel free to shoot me a text with any concerns you have and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Friday brought in 10 kids. Keva looks a bit different then usual, she got super matted up for some strange reason, I'm not sure if it was just a change in her coat or what but she had to have a fresh start. We also had another new face today, Miss Bingo! She was a wiggly gal and we definitely have some work to do but she did pretty well! Friday was definitely not my day and I have come to the conclusion that I definitely need to take a step back and lighten my workload as these 10 or 11 hour days, 5 days a week are not working for me. With that being said my books are completely closed to any client that is not currently on a set schedule. I unfortunately am not able to please everyone and I know I will have some upset former clients however this is what I need to do right now for my own well being.

Finally getting to spend some quality time with my new little monster, Gus! He's now 3 months old and just over 20 pounds! Potty training is going great and learning to be a nice boy is a work in progress. He only likes snuggling when he's tired otherwise he goes and goes and goes! He definitely knows how to test my patience but he has learned it's best not to provoke his mom. He is a pretty good boy and I'm hoping he turns into a really nice dog 💛.

9 doggos today. Fun fact Jemma and Wally are actually from the same litter! Jemma is much smaller! Cruise got a short summer cut today. He's also lost a couple pounds since his last visit! You go buddy! Couple more days then I'm outta here for a couple weeks.
