We are canceling. We have been rained out.
With the amount of rain that just came down, we won’t be able to glue the numbers on the cows and parking area will be muddy.
We are rescheduling for next Monday, May 27th, Memorial Day, we will start at 4:30pm.

The practice is weather permitting. With the electronics we use for the show, I cannot host it in bad weather, i.e. rain or strong winds.
I’ll will post by 3:30 our decision.
Stupid weather.
I am open to moving it later in the week or even the weekend.
Let me know your thought on that as I know it’s a holiday weekend.

Broc had a great run with the Flying V Sorting Series.
He took a second place overall, and took 3rd today in the pee-wee division.

Here are some details on the sorting.

This first “practice” I am using as a trial run. It will be used to give me an idea of how many people may show up, the experience each rider/horse has with cows, sorting and gating.
If this something that continues to grow interest, Kash VanTassell will be hosing a clinic on June 1st (details to follow). I will continue the “practices” and jackpots once a month. There will be a cattle cost of $10.00 per rider, per horse.
I am still looking into the entry fee for the jackpot and how many may be interested.
I am trying to allow everyone a chance to get 3/4 rides in, but that will all depend on the amount of people that show up.
This will be a trail and error, and we are going to do our best, we are even thinking about putting up two pens.

Sorting will start at 5:30 with sign-ups starting @ 4:30.
