Vitis rotundifolia or better known as Muscadine Grapes is a native to the southeastern united states and was the first grape species to be cultivated in North America. These grapes have the toughest skin and are not always great for just eating but are perfect for winemaking.

Baltimore Fish Pepper 🐟🌶

Originating in the Caribbean and brought to the U.S. in the 19th century. The pepper became a popular ingredient among the Black community and was commonly used in many seafood dishes (hence the name fish pepper).
They declined in popularity in the early 20th century but was saved in the 1940s thanks to Horace Pippin, a Black folk painter who gave fish pepper seeds to H. Ralph Weaver, a beekeeper, in exchange for honey bees 🐝

We have to share some sad news with you. H St farms will be permanently closing at the end of October. We’ve had such an amazing time growing on this rooftop but it’s time for us to say goodbye and move onto a new site.
Thank you everyone for supporting us throughout the last 5 years and particularly during COVID when retail sales became a crucial part of keeping this business afloat.
as a company is still going strong and we’re looking forward to our next adventure✨
We are selling many things during this move, including our lovely little greenhouses.

Amorphophallus Konjac or better known as "Voodoo Lily," "co**se flower," and "devil's tongue," is native to Eastern Asia. When in bloom it produces an odor like a dead animal to attract it's natural pollinators, carrion flies. The bulbo-tuber (corm) is typically used in cooking, or their roots are extracted for glucomannan.

Native perennials are important for sustaining and supporting our native wildlife especially the monarch butterflies. Monarch butterfly populations diminish every year due to loss of habitat, climate change, and pesticides killing milkweed. Join our local neighbor Suzanne Wells as she sells her own grown common milkweed plants started from locally sourced seeds. Milkweed is a host plant for Monarch butterflies. She is selling her plants for $5/each and 100% of proceeds are being donated to the Monarch Sister Schools Program. She has been able to sell a significant amount of plants already and has 19 left. You can place your order for pick up by either emailing [email protected] or texting 703-909-1653.

Plants can be paid for by cash, check (made out to Natural Partners), or Venmo (send money to [email protected]).

Join us as we partner with Charismatic Creations to teach summer cocktails. The two cocktails we will be focusing on are Mojito and Margarita. Each person will receive their supplies to mix their drinks while an expert mixologist explains how to make these classics properly.
