We had a tremendous turnout for Meet The Breeds today. All AKC groups were represented! I believe all clubs were represented including Wichita Kennel Club, Hutchinson Kennel Club, Salina Kennel Club, Wheatland Golden Retriever Club, Wichita Dog Training Club, and Kansas Toy Dog Club. All had a good time…humans and canines! Thanks to the Kansas State Fair and everyone who help make Total Dog Demo day a huge success!

We hope you all had a peaceful Labor Day! Attached are a few photos of the Scentwork $5 Fun Day at Simone's that occured this morning. The searches were fun, and the fellowship second to none! Special thanks again to Simone for hosting us at her farm, and Charlotte Norris for designing the entertaining searches.

Another Sunflower Cluster is in the books. The shows were well attended, and many good things were said about the event! Thanks to all the people who put in many hours of work towards making the shows sucessful!

Thank you so much for all who came out and helped and participated in our Sunflower Cluster Conformation Practice--ONE NIGHT ONLY class last night! We had a Shetland Sheepdog, a Pomeranian, an Afgan, a Rottweiler, and 3 Aussies in attendance!

We are so glad you came out, and wish you all a fantastic time at the Sunflower Cluster!!!

Small dogs 6:30 pm- 7:15 pm; medium and large dogs 7:00 pm-8:00 pm.

Much fun was had tonight at the Scentwork Leash Handling with Charlotte Norris (ONE NIGHT ONLY)! The students practiced their leash handling skills first on a stationary table leg. Next they each took turns being the "overly enthusiastic" scentwork dog who takes their handler on a wild ride! Finally the students ended the evening with an obstacle laden search to practice their new skills!

Thank you so much for all the hard working volunteers and exhibitors that made our Sniff N Go - Hayden Brown World Agility Team Trip Benefit fundraiser successful today! Special thanks to our judges, "logistics" folks, and the Brown family for hosting us! The turnout was great, and the searches were a lot of fun! If this sounds like something you and your doggie friend would like to learn how to do, don't forget we have our Beginner Scentwork Class taught by our own Lori Hays coming up Tuesday May 28th at 6:00 pm. This is a fun game that you and your dog will enjoy learning together!
