This is why we have livestock guardian dogs. This is how our chickens stay alive. 🤩 they know what belongs here and what doesn’t. They are nocturnal and do their job at night when the prowlers are out. Amazing. And the friendliest dogs to us and our guests. Love this breed.

Anyone interested in frozen goat milk from last year? It’s all in ice cube form and we have several gallon size bags available. Only good for making soap or feeding to animals.

In my former life I was a full time horseback riding instructor. I carried a lesson load of 30 students a summer and was showing, training, boarding horses for people and running day camps. I am proud to announce that two of my former students are now looking for students of their own. Talk about full circle! 🤩😍 Ian Chester and my niece, Lily block are accepting students. They both do a great job and I can’t recommend them enough. They will be teaching at my in laws farm, Stepping Stones, in okemos. See the pic for all the info. Space is limited.

We found a little surprise out in the barn tonight!!! Kidding season has officially begun! Little miss pepper. She’s an only child to her first time mom. She is SO friendly already! Baby goats are the best.

A new adventure begins today on our farm! The kids got their 4-h dairy feeder calves. Not ideal with how cold it is but here we are. I’m sure we will have better pictures coming. 🥰
